- Fridge Horror: No one in Brigadoon can ever leave their tiny town, no matter how they want to, and within a week of 'Brigadoon Time' the town will probably have something else built on top of it in the real world. Most likely the town is doomed and everyone in it will be dead before the year is out. Thanks a lot, minister.
- To take this further...from the POV of Brigadoon, one year on from the miracle starting, 365 days will have passed within its limits - but outside, 36,500 years will have passed and mankind would either be a) long dead, b) gone from the planet into space, or c) changed beyond all recognition. Good luck, residents of Brigadoon...
- On the other hand considering God is behind the miracle, He's more than capable of preserving the town against that sort of thing.
