Sandrine, who has been engaged to Fred for years, is unsatisfied with their relationship and her life overall. After meeting a man named Greg who is a psychiatry student, they have intense, very enjoyable sex together. She soon leaves Fred to explore what Greg can teach. At the same time, she discusses things often with an older man whom she meets in the park who is very philosophical. Sandrine soon finds that her adventure with Greg will lead her to very strange places though, and may not deliver what she wants.

- Past-Life Memories: Mina accidentally regresses through hypnosis and remembers having lived as a nun in Belgium during a previous life centuries ago. Greg later deliberately regresses her to this so that they can learn more.
- Placebo Effect: Greg hypnotizes Mina to feel a coin on her skin as burning. Later it turns out that the effect caused a real but painless burn. Greg says it's very rare for such a thing to occur, saying Mina is exceptional since this happened.
- Polyamory: Sophie tells Greg and Sandrine how she's now seeing a married couple in a BDSM relationship. They come along to observe a session after this.
- The Philosopher: The man in the park whom Sandrine talks with is quite knowledgeable about science and philosophical subjects, spending a lot of time telling her about these. He has educated himself on all this, and his day job is just working as a cab driver.
