Irish-based sporting network which broadcasts in the Canada, Australia, and South Africa. It also maintains a broadband on-demand service. It used to broadcast in the UK until June 2009, and in the USA until May 2010.

Setanta, which had acquired rights to many Premiership football matches and all of England's away games, went broke due to a lack of subscribers. It was unable to pay what it owed to the leagues, and went into administration. Earlier, it had severely annoyed British viewers over selling terrestrial highlight rights for a game against Croatia, eventually allowing ITV to show them a few days later.

Setanta in the USA staggered on for about a year after the collapse of their English parent before fragmenting into Fox Soccer Plus (as Fox bought Setanta's USA residential pay-TV rights) and Premium Sports (which sells international sporting events on to bars and restaurants).

The brand was renamed to eir Sport in 2016 after being sold to eir, before closing in 2021.
