Neversoft was a Los Angeles-based video game developer owned by Activision and known for the games Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and (for a short time) Call of Duty. They also were known for their sentient eyeball mascot-slash-Vanity Plate, which was considered Nightmare Fuel for many players of their games.
The studio went defunct in 2014 and was merged into Infinity Ward. The remaining employees burned their eyeball statue as a ritual outside the studio.
