Artimus Lamont Bentley (October 25, 1973 – January 19, 2005) was an American actor and rapper. He was best known for his role as Hakeem Campbell in Moesha. First appearing in the 1994 short-lived sitcom South Central, show creator Ralph Farquhar then cast Bentley as Hakeem Campbell on Moesha which ran for six seasons. Bentley was also a rapper and appeared in the films Car Wash and Tales from the Hood.
Bentley was killed in a single-car automobile accident after midnight on January 19, 2005. He is survived by two daughters and his mother.
