Kenneth Cope, (14 April 1931), is a British actor best known for playing Marty Hopkirk in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and Jed Stone in Coronation Street.

Early in his career, he was a character actor until he landed the role of Jed Stone in Coronation Street, which helped boost attention to him. Around the same time, he was a regular on That Was the Week That Was.

At the end of The '60s, he starred in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) as Marty Hopkirk. He also played major roles in two of the Carry On films, in Carry On at Your Convenience as the disagreeable shop steward Vic Spanner and in Carry On Matron as unwilling crook Cyril Carter. He also starred in The Movie version of George & Mildred.

He wrote for the children's TV series Striker in the mid-'70s, and in 1984, starred in the Britcom Bootle Saddles as Percy James, who worked in a themed cowboy village. He also played Ray Hilton in Brookside from 1999 to 2002.

In 2008, he returned to Coronation Street for the first time in 42 years. This was his final acting job, and now Cope lives in Southport and writes for a weekly newspaper.
