A YouTube user who specializes in creating Pokémon content. This runs the gammit of Let's Plays, Pokémon updates, and, more recently, ROMhacks and fanfiction. He bears the honor of being the first YouTube partner dedicated to Pokémon related videos. He has also created two other channels. GCPM11, which once was mean to promote lesser known Youtubers, but Machinima has a policy against having that on their network, so a new channel, KantoUniversity, was created for this purpose. GCPM11 now hosts trailers and Gian's non-Pokémon related content.
Contains examples of:
- Artifact Title: Apparently. the channel was named after an email account young Gian made when he was 11, hence the 11 in his name. He is no longer at that age.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Barry from Gian's Fan Fic Pokemon Tales becomes this as a Flanderization of his canon personality.
- Colbert Bump: Enforced on Gian's Kanto University channel.
- Executive Meddling: Machinima shut down the "GCPM11 community" which was meant to showcase lesser known Website/YouTube channels., as this was against their policy. The concept was revived on a different channel, not under Machinima's network.
- Large Ham: Dawn from Pokemon Tales, especially how her dialogue is represented in all caps when she screams.
- Let's Play: Much of his content is this, and what he is well known for (along with his Pokémon news updates).
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: In-universe in his Let's Play of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, he chides the game as a case of this. Although as a good example of how tropes are not bad, many fans would agree with Gian on this.
- Viewer Gender Confusion: In-universe Lampshaded in his Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Let's Play, expressing surprise when the partner character refers to Emolga using male pronouns.
