Anjelica Huston (born July 8, 1951 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress.

With her statuesque height, angular face and piercing stare, she has carved out a niche for herself playing women who range from authoritative and only mildly intimidating, to awesome and terrifyingly evil queens and witches. She is who you call upon to play the ideal Morticia Addams, or the quintessential Evil Stepmother, or anybody with the title of Grand High Witch.

However, she can also play kind, loving characters if you let her, as Wes Anderson has done with his films The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Darjeeling Limited.

She happens to be the daughter of John Huston and the granddaughter of Walter Huston. (And, since both of them had gotten Academy Awards, she became the third member of her family to earn one by winning Best Supporting Actress for Prizzi's Honor.) Her brothers are Tony Huston and Danny Huston, and her nephew is Jack Huston. She dated Jack Nicholson from 1973 to 1989 and was married to sculptor Robert Graham from 1992 until his death in 2008.
