NO/ONE is a 10-issue limited series, written by Kyle Higgins and Brian Buccelato, with art by Geraldo Borges and Mark Englert. It is published by Image Comics as part of the Massive-Verse. It began in March 2023.
Months ago, the vigilante hacktivist NO/ONE began exposing corruption in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Things escalated when a serial killer going by Richard Roe began killing those exposed by NO/ONE. While Richard Roe was eventually arrested, and revealed to be Aaron Kern, son of decorated police officer Ben Kern.
Now, the city of Pittsburg is caught in a wave of copycat killings inspired by Richard Roe, with the vigilante NO/ONE continuing to hold those in power accountable for their crimes.
NO/ONE is the first non-spin-off miniseries from the Massive-Verse. The series has a companion podcast, Who Is No One, which follows two reporters during the events of the series.
Radiant Pink contains examples of:
- Anti-Hero: NO/ONE exposes the crimes of those in power knowing full well that serial killers will be gunning for them as a result.
- The Cracker: NO/ONE is a hacktivist who targets those in power in Pittsburgh.
- Civvie Spandex: The only especially superheroic part of NO/ONE's look is the helmet and cape, everything else is civilian clothing, if practical civilian clothing, like sneakers, a jacket and holster.
- Jack The Rip Off: The series opens with killings imitating the Richard Roe killings. Apparently, there's already been two copycats before the current one.
- Outliving One's Offspring: Ben outlives one of his sons, Michael, who is shot four times in the chest by the copycat killer.
- Poorly Disguised Pilot: The first issue spends a lot of its time setting up the spin-off podcast.
- Super-Toughness: NO/ONE can take bullets and shrug them off.
