Characters who were originally created in GoAnimate videos.
The Cooks
Loosely based on a real-life person, Warren Cook is the name given to the Mac Guy default character. Warren is a character who loves Disney (to the detriment of his father Alan) and has a penchant for making fake VHS openings. He is voiced by Brian.
- Butt-Monkey: Warren never hears the end of it when it comes to his VHS openings.
- Catchphrase: "I'm going to make the VHS opening to [Insert film or TV series here] from [Year], Real, not fake."
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Warren takes his fake VHS openings very seriously.
- Companion Cube: His fake VHS openings.
- The Dog Bites Back: Often in videos where Alan is the target.
- Felony Misdemeanor: Without fail, Warren will get grounded for making any sort of fake VHS opening.
- Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Subverted.
- Missing Mom: Warren's mother is never seen.
- Nice Guy: Much like Macusoper, he can come off as this in videos that don't have him as the target. And even then, he's not as bad as other troublemakers in the videos that do have him as the target.
- Reality Subtext: Warren is loosely based on a user/troll the GoAnimate community had a fight with some years back of the same name and the same hobby.
- Recurring Extra: Across many videos.
- Serious Business: When it comes to his fake VHS openings.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Warren can and has been killed just for making fake VHS openings, only to return every time.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Sometimes, he has been praised for his editing skills, and occasionally gets a good score on a test or behaviour card day.
- You All Look Familiar: Being one of the stock models of the program, plenty of characters that look like him appear in several non-related videos, although the model is generally well known for being Warren Cook's.
Alan, Warren Cook's father and the Foil to Warren, routinely stops Warren from making his fake VHS openings and inevitably grounds Warren for doing so. Unlike Warren, Alan hates Disney and will restrict Warren's access to things made by the company the first chance he gets.
- Abusive Parents: Not only does Alan ground Warren for the fairly innocuous activity of making fake VHS openings, but usually Alan will also punish Warren by making him give up all his Disney related material, making Warren wear nappies, and/or having Warren's friends come to yell at Warren.
- Berserk Button: He hates Disney and fake VHS openings.
- The Bully: Like all parents in the GoAnimate universe.
- Encyclopaedic Knowledge: He knows the correct release date of every film Warren makes a fake VHS opening of, even for the most unheard of films.
- Fan Hater: Alan does not understand why Warren likes Disney, and the first thing he'll do when punishing Warren is take away all of his Disney related merchandise.
- Holier Than Thou: Like every adult in the GoAnimate world.
- Hunk: He uses the model of the default "muscled" base character, albeit with the shirt color changed to cyan (sometimes various other shades of blue, too).
- Jerkass: Since nearly every parent character has this personality, it is to be expected.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: Many Deconstruction videos are fond of this trope.
- In "Warren makes a fake Frozen vhs opening and gets grounded", he ends up being subjected to Black Comedy Rape by the infamous Barney Bunch depiction of Drew Pickles to teach him a lesson for grounding his son over something as petty as VHS openings.
- In "Warren Cook's Dad Makes A Critical Error In Judgement", being outsmarted by his son causes him to attempt to ground Warren with the same punishments he's already given him before blowing up.
- Tautological Templar
- You All Look Familiar: As mentioned above, his model is a Palette Swap of one of the stock models of the program.
- Berserk Button: DO NOT disrespect his opinion.
- Big "NO!": Prone to doing this, even in unfitting moments.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Constantly thins out of existence in some videos.
- Depending on the Writer: His design varies from user to user, some using the design used in the picture provided, others either using Warren Cook's normal model with his facial features rotated or simply having normal Warren Cook crying constantly like the Uolliac and the Uolliac and the Uolliac.
- Distressed Dude: In a few videos, he's treated like an artifact that must be saved from unusual locations.
- Flanderization: He's basically the Flanderized version of Warren, but given some powers that make him equal to Uolliac.
- Gag Nose: Has a huge nose that dominates half of his face.
- Gonk: Along with his over-sized nose, Cooking has an upside down mouth, and either has tiny beady eyes or eyes really close together, unlike other characters.
- Recurring Extra: Tends to appear a lot in Uolliac-themed videos.
- Verbal Tic: Whereas Uolliac has "WEEA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AH", Cooking has "NO-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O".
- You All Look Familiar: He's Warren Cook, but with a distorted face.
The Smith family
- Badass Family: They are all awesome in their own ways.
- Dysfunctional Family: Downplayed.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Ivy and Eric are both the responsible to David's foolish.
Eric Smith tends to be regarded as the main character of the Smith family grounded videos, despite not always being the one getting grounded. His typical depiction is that of a bespectacled red-haired boy wearing a blue shirt and green shorts. Some videos have him owning a Latios that helps around the house or punishes troublemakers.
- Badass Adorable: He is good-looking, and he owns a Latios that he knows how to train and control.
- Berserk Button:
- Don't mess with his Latios.
- Don't make fun of his glasses, it won't be pretty.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Get him mad and he'll either sic his Latios on you or fry you.
- Blue Is Heroic: His blue shirt.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The responsible, along with Ivy, to David's foolish.
- Generation Xerox: He appears to inherit his rounded glasses from his parents and his hair colour from Diesel.
- Mon: Eric is sometimes shown owning a Latios.
- Nice Guy: Videos that don't have him as the troublemaker tend to have him as this instead, with him being a well-behaved student at school who is quick to warn teachers of trouble and being well-liked by his family.
- Not So Above It All: He does have his moments of trouble-making.
- Original Generation
- Recurring Extra: Being one of the more popular original GoAnimate characters, Eric makes frequent appearances in many different users' videos.
- Red Is Heroic: His red specs.
- Specs of Awesome: Eric has glasses and is a badass kid.
The presumably older sibling of Eric and Ivy, and is one of the main characters of the Smith family grounded videos, and the most frequent target for grounding. He looks almost identical to his brother, the only differences are that David is depicted as being taller, having brown hair instead of red, lacking glasses. He wears a cyan and red collared shirt with a red stripe in the middle, denim blue shorts, and light blue shorts.
- Bad People Abuse Animals: Some videos show David tasering, hurting and killing Latios, only for him to be fine in the end after David is grounded.
- Big Brother Bully: To Eric and Ivy, constantly doing awful things to them.
- The Chew Toy: Several videos depict him getting severely beaten up physically by Latios and even attacked by the latter's attacks (most commonly Luster Purge).
- Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor: To a degree.
- Evil Sounds Deep: When assigned with the Vocalware David voice, his voice comes off as a lot more gravely and low compared to the Voiceforge David voice.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The foolish to Eric and Ivy's responsible.
- Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Courtesy of his parents.
- Jerkass: He abuses animals, and is mean to his younger siblings.
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: David has his videos of scaring other people.
- Original Generation
- Pet the Dog: David does get his fair share of not being a grounded victim, however.
- Static Stun Gun: Owns a taser.
- Teens Are Monsters: David's a teenager, and he is an animal-abusing meanie.
- Token Evil Teammate: Displays a noticeable meaner streak than the rest of his family.
- The Un-Favourite: His parents like his younger siblings more than him.
- Young Gun: Often portrayed as owning a taser.
The younger sibling of Eric and David, and one of the main characters of the Smith family grounded videos, being the second-most frequent grounding victim. Her typical appearance is that of a Animesque Lil' Peepz character with pink bob-cut hair and amber eyes (although her eye shape differs throughout models) wearing a pink headband and a pink Sailor Fuku.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Downplayed. While some of her depictions show her as this, she is oftentimes shown as a more neutral character until she messes up.
- Butt-Monkey: Most of her bad luck is caused by David.
- Depending on the Writer: Her appearance and personality differentiates between users.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The responsible, along with Eric to David's foolish.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Her model is a Lil' Peepz character, unlike the rest of her family.
The parents of the aforementioned characters above, and the main parents of the Smith family grounded video. Kate is depicted as a tall brunette-haired woman wearing pink spectacles, a blue layered shirt, jeans and light blue heels. Diesel is depicted as a fairly heavyset red haired man with red glasses, a green polo shirt, and jeans.
- Abusive Parents: Somewhat downplayed in the fact that neither are as aggressive as the other parents, but can still cross the line (especially when Latios is involved in punishments).
- All There in the Manual: Word of God from various users claim that Kate and Diesel are actually David and Eric's adoptive parents, although it is never usually talked about.
- Chubby Mama, Skinny Papa: Inverted. Diesel is Chubby Papa to Kate's Skinny Mama.
- Depending on the Writer: For Kate, her portrayal in videos as either being a level-headed mother (e.g. Officerpoop247's videos) or just as wicked as several other parents (e.g. louielouie95's videos) depends on the user. The same largely goes for Diesel, as well.
- Good Parents: Zig-zagged. Even though they're both nice most of the time, other video makers depict them as abusive.
- Original Generation
- A Dog Named "Dog": A Latios named Latios.
- Blue Is Heroic: His color scheme is blue.
- Butt-Monkey: Often gets injured by David.

- Team Pet: The second family pet of the Smiths.
- Signature Move: Mist Ball.
The Busters
Macusoper Busters is the name given to the default Bodyguard character included in the program's Comedy World theme. Macusoper is the teenage son of Diesel Busters, and is shown to constantly be getting in trouble at school, whether on purpose or for reasons beyond his control.
- All of the Other Reindeer: Macusoper is usually shown to be the least popular kid at school. Even his teacher and principal seem to hold a grudge against him for whatever reason.
- Butt-Monkey: Big time. Some of the trouble he gets into at school isn't even his fault and he'll still get suspended.
- Cool Shades: He wears sunglasses.
- The Dog Bites Back: Often in videos where Diesel Busters is the target.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: A few users have him be easy to lose his temper. (Oftentimes his peers bait him into doing so just to get him in trouble.)

- Nice Guy: Is sometimes portrayed as this in videos that don't have him as the target.
- No Indoor Voice: One of several characters to have the Kidaroo voice setting as his usual voice.
- Original Generation: A wholly original character.

- Throw the Dog a Bone: Often gets this in videos where he isn't the target.
- The Woobie: He always gets in trouble for things that aren't even his fault, so he's quite pitiable.
- You All Look Familiar: Being one of the stock characters included with the program, plenty of bodyguard characters that look like Macusoper have come and gone.
Diesel Busters is a nickname given to the default PC Guy character included in the program's Comedy World theme. Diesel is the father of Macusoper Busters and, of course, is not the best father to him.
- Abusive Parents: Diesel almost always physically punishes Macusoper when he gets in trouble.
- Alternative Character Interpretation: Some videos depict him as being actually rather kind and thoughtful.
- Big Bad: Of Kirby The Superstar Creator's videos.
- The Bully: Again, it's GoAnimate.
- Evil Twin: Apparently, his Alternative Character Interpretation '(Nice) Diesel Busters the (Calming or Nice) PC Guy' is this in MacusoperAndLPSLover's videos.
- Four Eyes, Zero Soul: He wears glasses, and he's a very unpleasant man.
- Holier Than Thou: While everyone of Macusoper's peers fail to notice their own flaws (while constantly berating Macusoper for his own), it's especially evident with Diesel Busters.
- Jerkass: Highly unpleasant.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: He does have his moments where karma does bite him in the ass.
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Everyone is scared of him.

- Good Counterpart: He's called "Nice Diesel Busters" for a reason.
- Nice Guy: What else can you say about someone who will come and calm you down or cheer you up if you're feeling sad or scared?
- Specs of Awesome: A friendly, comforting, and gentle man with glasses.
- Token Good Teammate: He is the most selfless of the Busters family.
The Johnson family
Gianna Johnson is the third child of Paul and Susan and not much younger than her older siblings. However, she is very bratty and also abusive. Despite her age, she still likes Strawberry Shortcake.
The Dawson Gals
One of the two Dawson sisters, Erika is the more soft-spoken of the two and wears glasses. Erika is the sibling most commonly portrayed as the well-behaved one, though she has had her share of trouble-making.
- Cat Girl: In Rangeltoons' videos.
- Depending on the Writer: Whether Erika is the main trouble-maker of her videos or Zara is. For example, in Adult Mall and Colonel Michael's videos, Erika can be a Jerkass to Zara, but in Cartoonist Kid's videos, Erika was kind-hearted, sweet, flirty, and cute.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The responsible to Zara's foolish.
- Nice Girl: Whenever she isn't the trouble maker, she is a sweet girl.
- Not So Above It All: She is far from immune from getting grounded or just being a Jerkass, perhaps even more so than Eric Smith.
- Ship Tease: With Eric Smith in videos in which they appear together.
- Sibling Rivalry: Sometimes is depicted as having one with Zara.
- Specs of Awesome: Erika wears glasses and is kind.
- Innocent Fanservice Girl: Alot of times.

- Bratty Teenage Daughter
- Butt-Monkey/The Chew Toy: Not much goes right for her.
- Cat Girl: In Rangeltoons.
- Depending on the Writer: As with Erika, whether Zara is the trouble-maker causing trouble for Erika or is Erika's victim tends to vary among users.
- Foil: To Erika. Though their roles as the grounding victim tend to be remarkably interchangeable.
- Exiled from Continuity: This version of Zara is non-canon to the official Zack series, as the Zara in that series is voiced as Kayla, and isn't as bratty as this version. Furthermore, she has been shown to be in a relationship with Derek, who in the official Zack series actually hates Derek as he has been bullying her brother Zack.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The foolish to Erika's responsible.
- Green and Mean: Most of her clothing consists of green, and she's by far the meaner one of the two.
- Jerkass: In the videos where she actually is the troublemaker. And even then, she's more naughty than her sister Erika.
- Sibling Rivalry: With Erika sometimes.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: Erika is a good-natured girl, but Zara is a naughty troublemaker.
- Spoiled Brat: Of the two siblings, Zara tends to be portrayed as the troublemaker the most often.
- Teens Are Monsters: The more troublesome of the Dawson duo.
- Valley Girl: Has the "Princess" voice, so she has a voice like one.

Other characters
The canon names given to two of the female Cartoon Classics characters, and the ones from said theme to be most often portrayed as troublemakers before the rise of the Comedy World theme. Joyce is voiced by Amy, while Jane is voiced by Kayla.

- Trademark Favorite Food: Dave and Buster's is frequently portrayed as their choice restaurant.
An otherwise infrequently appearing character, Kevin is a character who appears in some users' videos as someone who causes trouble. Many recent videos have him as a friend and/or fellow trouble-maker to Dora. Kevin is distinguished by his parted brown hair, grey goatee, and bright green T-shirt.
- Depending on the Writer: Most users just have Kevin as a Living Prop in the classroom scenes. Videos which actually involve him go back and forth between him being a well-behaved kid at the mercy of trouble-makers or as a trouble-maker himself.
- The Dragon: Often to Dora, whenever Boots isn't playing the role.
- Living Prop: Usually is just someone to fill up classroom space at someone's school when not being used as a character.

- Floating Limbs: Only when she was a child.

- Jerkass
- Laser-Guided Karma: It's hard to feel sorry for him when his bad habits (such as bullying BabyDollAnimate for lunch money and also pulling a water bucket prank on her) come back to bite him in the ass.
- Never My Fault: When he gets called out on his prank on BabyDollAnimate, he always defends his actions and doesn't feel bad about what he did.

- Valley Girl: Played Straight as she has the Princess voice.
- Spoiled Brat: Played Straight as she often acts entitled in most videos.
