• Let's just start with the fact that the writer of the story isn't even a native speaker of English. He's actually from Mexico, and he immigrated to the United States as a child. This story was his attempt to get better at writing in high school. Four million words later, he talks and writes better than most native-born speakers.
• Then there's its length. It currently holds the grand title of "World's longest piece of English fiction." Yeah, we're serious.
