  • As Miss Texas, she was the inaugural USWA Women's Champion and would hold the title a record 14 times from 1992 to 1996.
  • In 1993, she was the first woman to be included in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's "PWI 500" list of the best wrestlers in the world, ranked at #249 (she was also mysteriously ranked at #483. For the record, #1 on the list that year was Bret Hart.)
  • She was the first African-American WWE Women's Champion.
  • She defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and was the ONLY African-American wrestler of any gender to win the title, since Lance Storm had awarded the title, which he renamed the 100 Kg and Under Title, to Elix Skipper when he formed Team Canada in WCW in August 2000.
  • Got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
