Manji; birth of a franchise.

Kuibanote  is perhaps the most ambitious work by the Chinese animation company Vasoon Animation.

Every 333 years, a being know as "Kuiba" will reincarnate, creating arrays of destruction in Vast. Both the gods in the Heaven and mortals of the Ground will overcome hatred toward each other and worked together to combat and ultimately killing him. Massive casualties and destruction concludes each battle, so after the defeat of the fourth incarnation the gods resort to bomb the place with all firepowers stored in heaven where Kuiba is said to reincarnate from a rock the moment Kuiba's life signal is detected, basically killing him in his infant stage. This worked exactly once.

The sixth incarnation of Kuiba survive the blast, gets adopted by a nomad named Man Xiaoman who named the infant "Man Ji", and have a "normal" childhood, until the day when the gods realize Kuiba is still alive and launched another campaign to defeat Kuiba. The pair, unaware that Man Ji is Kuiba, joined the campaign (or tried to join), with the goal of "defeating Kuiba" and become "the greatest spirit warrior ever lived".
