** How much of Andrea's bad attitude comes from her father? "Saving Christmas" highlights that while he may spoil her rotten with presents but doesn't really listen to her, and it seems the only way she can reliably gets his attention is by acting as the face for Davenport stores. ** Despite having decent setup due to being their only connection before Molly came along and Scratch possessing Andrea to undo the damage it did, the series never gives an in-depth look at Libby and Andrea's past with each other, being mostly relegated to the background after Andrea went from a bully character to a more ObliviouslyEvil kinda girl.
** Speaking of Andrea, she's one of the many characters who never ends up learning about either Scratch or the existence, despite the fact that she's friends with two girls who interact frequently with the ghost world. It could've been interesting to see how Andrea would react to learning about the world, especially Scratch's existence [[spoiler:before he became human again]].

** After the Season 1 finale, where [[spoiler:Molly herself ends up temporarily becoming one in said episode]], a popular theory arose that Scratch is the wraith of one of the Brighton citizens, Todd. Evidence given includes both having similar features such as big noses, Scratch briefly mentioning how Todd literally doesn't have a soul at one point, Todd always being glum (the main characteristic of humans whose souls are currently elsewhere as wraiths), and the two sharing a voice actor. Season 2 going on to have Scratch tell Darryl that being a Wraith for too long is dangerous (but unable to remember why), as well as Scratch revealing he can't recall his human life (an issue that no other ghost in the show is known to have), only helped strengthen this theory.
** Jinx being [[spoiler:Scratch's childhood friend Adia]] is another theory that's rising up. Though this hinges from a few similar features such as their hair and as a way to add Scratch possibly moving on from his past if he were to find out what a horrible being [[spoiler:his former friend]] became in his absence.

Should be on the Trivia tab

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Following the series finale, co-creator Bill Motz posted a thread on X detailing why the show ended.
** The first drop of episodes on Disney+ indicated that the show was doing very well. So well, in fact, that Disney commissioned 10 scripts for Season 3. By this point, the show had already been renewed for Season 2 prior to the show's premiere, and the crew was already deep into writing it.
** The second drop of episodes released on Disney+ in December 2021 did not perform as well as the first. Motz attributed this to a lack of robust marketing that was present from Disney at the show's launch. Despite the third drop of Disney+ releases doing significantly better, the decision was made by Disney to cancel the show after two seasons in June 2022.
** At the same time that the co-creators requested one final episode to wrap the story up, the transition in the company following Bob Chapek's exit and Bob Iger's return, as well as the fact that Disney liked the show and wanted to see the second season's performance before revisiting the decision, gave the crew hope that the second season would do well enough for Disney to green light a third season. Thus, when the finale's title, "The End," was leaked, at that point, they put the episode on hold until a final decision was rendered. Unfortunately, despite the second season doing well, the network felt that it did not meet their viewership expectations, and thus, the decision to cancel the show was upheld.
