A ZCE and RTDE/DILP are Fandom trends, not specific examples.

* DracoInLeatherPants: Subverted. While Lia De Russo and Il Lupo are the protagonists and are getting AdaptationalHeroism, they still start out as villains who ultimately redeem themselves, rather than being white-washed into a hero from the start. Not to mention that the RonTheDeathEater type demonization of the heroes that usually comes with this trope is also averted, as the Assassins are portrayed accurately. If anything Ezio is even more noble here than in the actual games, or at least just as much, as he spares Lia De Russo and also has a small PetTheDog moment during the initiation of some Assassin recruits.

* RonTheDeathEater: Averted. See above
* TooCoolToLive: [[spoiler: Cahin, Caha, and Verulo Gallo]]

* MoralEventHorizon: Malfatto has several candidates for crossing it:
** His trying to torture Lia De Russo to death at the beginning of the story, which in itself is by his most evil action.
** His [[spoiler: using his own protege as a decoy and BodyDouble despite the fact that it could have easily killed him, also having Seraffo brutally murder an innocent woman just to make it look convincing]].

* TooCoolToLive: [[spoiler: Cahin, Caha, and Verulo Gallo]]
