Tastes Like Diabetes is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

* GeniusBonus: The demons Solomon sends to kill Sophie when she becomes the next Promethea are all clearly based off of the demons from ''Literature/ArsGoetia'', many of their physical appearances matching the descriptions of the 72 demons in it. These demons were allegedly the demons that were bound by Ham and Solomon (as in King Solomon) to do the will of God. While it is expressly said that the Solomon from the comic is ''not'' the Biblical king of legend (as the King Solomon used to judge the trial looks like Solomon for Sophie's benefit), the parallels were likely deliberate. It especially helps that Aleister Crowley (who's entire gnostic career was the primary inspiration for ''Promethea'') helped publish ''The Lesser Key of Solomon''.
* TastesLikeDiabetes: The last chapter, showing the new world to come... which is exactly like the world before, except everyone is going around thinking about gods and occultism all the time, which makes it wonderful. [[InformedAttribute We know it's wonderful, because every single character keeps telling us how wonderful it is.]] The same goes for the part of the story where Promethea is exploring the three highest spheres - it's basically three issues of the characters gushing about how beautiful and holy everything is.
