I saw many people complain about the Venezuela flag short when it was first released in this new format

Added DiffLines:

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Starting in the Venezuela episode, Flag/Fan Day was reduced to Youtube Shorts due to declining views, and the episode corrections and package-opening were cut. Fans who came [[JustHereForGodzilla just for the flag section]] were dismayed to see that the [[RunningGag "BLOOD OF THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR THE FREEDOM!" animations]] were cut as a result.

Moved to Dan Browned

* CriticalResearchFailure:
** Not as critical as others, but enough to annoy many Bulgarians: In the Bulgaria video, he implied (twice) that Bulgaria was part of the Soviet Union, when in fact it wasn't. This is probably due to a script error or a slip.
** A more critical one happens in the France episode: He says that French people are entomophagus because they eat a lot of snails. Snails are not insects, they're mollusks.
** In the Guyana episode, he refers to (and spells) Music/ThinLizzy frontman Phil Lynott as "Philly Nott". He corrects this error in the Ireland video.
** When comparing Ireland and its beer culture with other international examples, he points out that Argentina would be unrecognizable without its salsa. Argentina's national dance is actually Tango.
** In the Canadian video, the capital city of Ottawa is mispelled as "Ottowa" on an animated map of the country - which Barbs did indeed acknowledge in the comments. Unfortunately, in a follow-up video on Canada's administrative divisions, he mistakenly listed Ottawa as the provincial capital of Ontario, when it's actually Toronto (Ottawa is the national capital). This was even more glaring in that he not only had a Canadian guest assisting in that video, but one who grew up about an hour's drive from Toronto and ought to have known.

* CreatorBreakdown: In late September 2020 Barbs put out a video in which he was putting the show on hiatus for a time due to the general ennui brought on by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and out-of-control wildfires plaguing the U.S. West Coast. He specifically made a note that trash collection in Los Angeles has become virtually nonexistent and that he's tired of looking at his city being dirty, so he announced that he'll be cleaning up trash on his own terms, with or without others helping him. Later social media posts indicate that around twenty fans volunteered to help him out for the first day. The show resumed production three months later, posting the Slovakia episode on the next-to-last day of 2020.

* TearJerker: In some of his videos, he explains that part of the money he earns via Patreon donations goes to his father, who was diagnosed with brain cancer. Paul's father died on April 19, 2017.

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece:
** When he explained the awkward and difficult border situation between India and Bangladesh and the enclave problem within the latter. Months after the video was made, India and Bangladesh actually started resolving this problem - Barby notes it in the India episode.
** In his "Which Countries Will You Cover?" video, Paul notes the very real possibility that a new country could be formed (or be internationally recognized as sovereign, in cases like Kosovo or Palestine) while he's making the series. If so, he will interrupt his planned alphabetical order to cover the country '''only''' if it's earlier in the alphabet than where he is at that point. The first use of this rule was not due to the above possibilities, but was instituted in response to the news that Swaziland changed its name to eSwatini.

* GrowingTheBeard: After gaining a bigger fanbase and more budget, much of his later videos now have higher quality, more sections including animals, food, culture, sports and music sections covered by his friends. Most viewers and people from the earlier countries hope that he will remake the older country videos to match that of his current style.
