* ADateWithRosiePalms: Apparently, as seen in the ''King Kong'' and ''NES'' episodes, researching and Game Boob's business schedule both involve rubbing one out to an Irate Gamer video.

Much of the humor of this show revolves around CriticalResearchFailure PlayedForLaughs, vulgar toilet humor, the acting of David Savage himself (who plays the Game Boob with very ridiculous and derpy mannerisms, expressions, and voice), contradictory imagery (that "gun"/"screwdriver" he says you get in ''Donkey Kong''? ... yeah...), and overall [[EpicFail failure so epic]] that it would make Irate Gamer himself blush.

* ActingForTwo: David Savage not only plays the Game Boob, but also any other characters that appear (Mr. Miyamoto, Dr. Mario, and the Anti-Boob).

* {{Bowdlerization}}: When one of his [=YouTube=] videos involving the Irate Gamer was taken down by someone named Cry Wolf Productions, David Savage took down the ''King Kong'' episode and put it back up with every reference to Chris Bores removed... and replaced with {{TakeThat}}s to Cry Wolf. A justified example, since this was at a time when Cry Wolf was abusing [=YouTube=]'s flag feature and removing any videos that contained even the slightest hint of Chris Bores for (fake) copyright infringement.

* RealSongThemeTune: The intro song for every episode is the [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Bulk and Skull]] theme.

They were kept on a previous [=BlipTV=] account (along with the episodes themselves), but the account was apparently taken down in favor of his current one, and the commentaries disappeared along with it.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The "dog doo" bit in the ''Donkey Kong'' episode was originally going to have been filmed several more times with the "dog doo" phrase replaced each time. David Savage eventually decided to just use the single take he recorded and dub over the lines instead.

However, unlike many other parodies, The Game BOOB show doesn't set its limits at just the Irate Gamer. One could say that The Game BOOB show is a parody of angry reviewing in general, since other reviewers such as WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic, WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob, and even [[WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd the fuckin' nerd himself]] are subjected to parody.

The episodes ''used'' to be uploaded on David Savage's initial [=YouTube=] channel, [[https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGameBoobShow TheGameBOOBshow]], but he has since deleted the episodes from that channel and declared it dead.
