!!This series contains examples of the following tropes:tropes:

* AprilFoolsPlot: Whenever April 1st arrives, the channel will release a video of their "review" of the next book to be reviewed, which is actually a reviewing of a different nostalgic media of which the trio grew up with. The screenshot for each video contains an image of the book's cover with inverted colors to indicate that it's part of a joke. It's only after the video is released until later in April that they release the ''actual'' review for the book.
* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: This trope is one of the rules in the game. Whenever the trio come across an instance of animal cruelty in the books, they take a shot.
* ButtMonkey: Jason is often used for target practice with jokes by Bob and Ned as part of the channel's humor.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: Jason is the Nice, Bob is the Mean, and Ned is the In-Between. Jason is usually respectful and understanding when it comes to treating other people and reviewing the books, Bob is very raunchy and obnoxious and has never given any of the books a 10, and Ned can be a little polite but also apathetic towards the books and Jason.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Given how much the trio squabble (especially when Jason is involved), it's a wonder how they can live with each other.
* WheelOfDecisions: Later on in the series, the trio introduced a wheel that would decide how the players would get their shots. It centers on Jason, Bob, and Ned[[note]]who is occasionally called Kevin[[/note]] as they [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin drink alcohol while discussing a ''Goosebumps'' book they're reviewing]].

They look out for recurring themes found throughout the series as part of their drinking. Whenever they come across one, they take a "shot" of the alcohol they're drinking, which is different in every episode. They also react to any corresponding episodes to the books. After they are done reviewing the book, each of them gives a score for the book, which can range from 0 to 10. After giving their scores, they add them up and divide by three, so the average of their scores equals their overall scores.

The series premiered on Halloween Eve, 2013, to a growing following. It ''used'' to have a consistent schedule with releases of episodes monthly, but has grown to have a '''major''' ScheduleSlip to the point that it would be lucky if the channel released an episode every few months.
