* AndIMustScream: The "Super Mario World Purgatory Hell" and "Sonic 3 Purgatory Hell" videos have the titular characters being trapped in their predictaments forever with the former being BuriedAlive and the latter stuck on a rotating barrel with nowhere to go.

* ControllableHelplessness: Invoked by the VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld, VideoGame/Sonic3 and VideoGame/{{Undertale}} "Purgatory" videos, crossing over with AndIMustScream.

The first video on the channel was, of all things, a video of [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosForNintendo3DSAndWiiU Smash 4]], but his true claim to fame is his Garfield Gameboy'd videos, inspired by the work of William Burke. Since then, he has made a number of different videos and series, including his [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Mario Bros]] and VideoGame/AmongUs series.

* ThickerThanWater: Mario and Luigi have this bond, as Luigi spares Mario in both "SWEATY LUIGI" and "Luigi becomes an Elder God" [[Main/BecauseYouWereNiceToMe because Mario was nice to him.]]

* BonusBoss: Parodied in "Deltarune Chapter 2 SECRET BOSS - you won't BELIEVE who it is!!". Where Kris ends up in a fight with [[VideoGame/ParappaTheRapper Parappa]] and [[ComicBook/{{Batman}} the goddamn Batman.]]

** Additionally, the Undertale Purgatory series, which includes fights against corrupted husk-like versions of Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Monster Kid (so far), has the SOUL trapped in the battle box while being unable to move or act in any way, with all of the bosses firing attacks that are unable to break through the box and actually kill the SOUL, trapping them forever. Monster Kid in particular spends his entire short buffing himself, transforming into a new armored form, and generating a giant sword which he uses to slash at the SOUL, [[HopeSpot seeming to finally end the SOUL's misery by cutting it and the box in half...]] [[spoiler:[[YankTheDogsChain only for the box and the SOUL to reset with a "MISS" message, briefly shocking even Monster Kid before he goes back to laughing at the SOUL's misfortune.]]]]

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Lyman.

** Virgo Gorefield has probably the saddest backstory of the Gorefields next to [[spoilers: Garf/Godfield]], having once originated from a Garfield who fell in love with a cat that just wasn't meant to be, resulting in his beheading. He returns as a VengefulGhost who takes on the form of someone who would be extremely attractive to anyone he deems his meal, eating them should they ever confess their love to his lure.

* SmugSnake: Nermal in Garfield Gameboy'd, reimagined as a government agent who's blackmailing Jon into getting him some genetic samples from Garfield. He learns too late that he's way in over his head when he meets Garfield himself, who proceeds to kill him for it.

** Fred Flintstone in ''FRUITY PEBBLES'' [[spoiler: inflicted this upon himself out of remorse of becoming a cannibalistic monster and killing Peebles.]]

** The "Sans" short sees a corrupted rotting Sans constantly sending fake-out attacks at a SOUL trapped in an invincible, immovable box barely bigger than their sprite. The SOUL can't attack, select commands, use items or even die; forced to watch Sans' attacks in an endless loop. The only available command is perpetually outside of the box, under the watchful eye of something in the bottom-right corner.

** Sonic, on the other hand, is trapped in Carnival Night Zone, within a long vertical tunnel just wide enough to fit the infamous Barrel of Doom he's standing on. The only thing awaiting Sonic at either end are Spikes that are just out of his reach, and wouldn't even kill him anyway if he had rings.

* DecoyProtagonist: The ''Breaking Bad Gameboy'd'' series initially focuses on Walter being hunted by a monstrous version of Finger in usual ''Lumpy Touch'' fashion. In the fifth and sixth episodes, [[spoiler:Walter uses the Philosopher's Stone to turn himself into an even more monstrous abomination and kill Finger]]. The seventh episode then switches focus to Jesse, as Walter [[spoiler:has now "become the danger" and is hunting Jesse]].
