It will be revealed at some point in the story that the World Gate in Dragonthroat Mountain that Spyro and his friends used to enter Equestria from their homeland is not the only one in Equestria, and these undiscovered world gates will be exploited by evil forces from Spyro's world (i.e. the survivors of the armies of his fallen foes) who seek to plunder Equestria for all it is worth. This sudden influx of otherworldly threats to her kingdom will intensify Celestia's grudge against Spyro because in her mind, these threats would never have come to her home were it not for Spyro arriving in the first place.
