[[WMG: Kirk and Picard will both be resurrected/de-aged]]
The vault in "The Bounty" mentions Kirk's body has been retrieved for something called "Project Phoenix", and they've cast a younger actor on ''Strange New Worlds'' who could pull double-duty in both the 23rd and 25th centuries (with William Shatner maybe appearing once to pass the baton). They've also mentioned a few times that Jack is his father's son, so they may convince the actor to shave his head and star as young Picard. Ergo, it's building up to ''Star Trek: Generations'' 2.0, except not shite this time.
* '''Jossed'''. Captain James T. Kirk is still dead (just like [[UsefulNotes/FranciscoFranco a certain Generalissimo]]) and Jean-Luc Picard is still old and bald.

And she might not even know it. What if this beverly is a deep cover changeling agent a la Ash Tyler from Discovery? The original beverly is abducted directly after Nemesis, her mind is somehow probed so the infiltrator has access to her memories and then its memory is wiped so the infiltrator actually thinks they are beverly. Then they have some kind of sub conscious command to concieve a child with Picard and then cut off all her old friends. That's why Jack is "different" - he's part changeling. His warging powers are his version of linking. A long shot I know but what a twist that would be.

Door, and Picard's Irumodic syndrome actually being Borg programming passed on to Jack.

In case [[GondorCallsForAid Picard calls for aid]], here’s a fantasy or probable list of characters we’ll see whom Picard has helped, and who might return given their actors are alive, perhaps to provide a thematic BookEnds (since a resurrected Kirk, Janeway, Jurati and her Borg crew, Kestra, Soji, Wesley, and the ex-Borgs have already been mentioned):
