[[WMG: Lex engineered Ivo's temporary breakout in "Adventures with My Girlfriend" [[EngineeredHeroics to save the day and endear himself to Waller]].]]
He emerges from behind Ivo out of the same corridor, meaning he at the bare minimum saw Ivo run by. Rather than take Ivo out the instant he saw him, he instead waits (letting a guard get mauled in the process) until Ivo's about to turn Waller into paste to make his BigDamnHeroes moment more impactful. He also brought a device to disable the Parasite suit with him to Task Force X's base, suggesting he knew in advance he would have to deal with Ivo--something he wouldn't have a reason to believe. There's also the fact that Ivo is clearly no longer mentally capable of planning an escape with the use of anything besides brute force, which his cell seems to be reinforced against given a camera feed we see of him uselessly bashing against the walls--but if he had outside help...

[[WMG:Lex's parents and childhood will be featured.]]
Jonathan and Martha have a prominent role as the source of Clark's sense of morality. Lex is the anti-Clark and his upbringing should be the opposite of humble farming stock adoptive parents: The Luthors are fabulously wealthy but self-centred perfectionists who expect their son to live up to impossible standards. [[spoiler:Since he appears to be building a career from scratch, Lex may have been cut off until he proves he can stand on his own to get back into his father's good graces and bank accounts.]] This also gives [[FreudianExcuse an explanation]] why [[EvilCannotComprehendGood he doesn't believe]] Superman would use his powers for others without seeking a reward: Lex has been made to bust his ass to get a shred of approval from people who were suppose to love him unconditionally.

[[WMG: Eventually, we will get a Bizarro, because Task Force X is already dumb enough to try messing with Kryptonian tech, sooner or later someone will have the brilliant idea to clone Superman... with predictable results.]]

[[WMG: Eventually, we will get a Bizarro, because Task Force X is already dumb enough to try messing with Kryptonian tech, sooner or later someone will have the brilliant idea to clone Superman... with predictable results. Ditto a Metallo, now that they have samples of kryptonite to work with.]]

[[WMG: Given how insanely powerful pure kryptonite is in this universe (a fragment the size of a thumb destroys a ship and cripples Clark from a fair distance), Task Force X may try to make artificial, synthetic kryptonite that will be substantially less powerful (more akin to how he'll feel woozy or sick in close proximity or to large doses) to the pure stuff. Would also allow for, if not mass production, at least some production. They may also accidentally create different versions like red, black, or silver versions.

* I think this one's been fairly Jossed, given we see Kara as a baby being sent away from Krypton. Time travel shenanigans may still be in play though.

Episode 1 shows a flashback to the fall of Krypton, where three soldiers identicle to [[InvincibleVillain Nemesis Omega]] are vaporised in a single blast by their enemies, indicating that Krypton angered an enemy far more powerful than they are. The most likely suspect therefore would be Apokolips, adding a planetary YouKilledMyFather to Superman and Darksied's rivalry. Alternatively, since Jor-El described [[AdaptationalVillainy Krypton]] as an expansionist empire that ''"conquered and spread across the stars like a disease"'', it is possible that it was in fact the New Gods that stepped in to end thier reign of terror .

[[WMG: By the end of the second season, Sam Lane will figure out his future son-in-law and "the alien" are one and the same. Putting them together in the same household will eventually make it obvious.]]

[[WMG: Hank Henshaw's mission to space will coincide with Clark, Lois and Jimmy going to find Supergirl, as seen in the trailers. It will also add depth to his hatred of Superman for ruining his mission (and possibly getting his wife killed, like in the comics).]]

Between the robot soldiers and Brainiac's connection to the ship, perhaps he's similar to a drone program to Krypton and aids the surviving Kryptonian forces in conquering. Zod may be the main villain of Season 2 but Braniac could be pulling TheChessmaster the whole time, culminating in him taking over and proceeding to miniaturize everything in the finale. (Perhaps with a upgrade to a more comic accurate form?)

* Season 2 identifies Brainiac as a Kryptonian AI, but the Villainous Braniac could easily be one that's been reprogrammed or otherwise corrupted.

In this series, Krypton destruction was the result of the Kryptonian Empire starting a war against an enemy that turned out to be so powerful it not only defeated them but destroyed their homeworld and rendered them extinct. If there is one being who wwould be the prime candidate for accomplishing this, it would be [[Characters/NewGodsDarkseid Darkseid]].

* Further evidence of this can be found in the fact that when the Jor-El A.I. shows Clark the Fall of Krypton, three Kryptonian warriors are seen being vaporized by what looks suspiciously like a Omega Beams.

[[WMG:Mercy Graves will be a android.]]
A robot that can pass for human is perfect for this tech heavy show. Any Lex Luthor worthy of the name is smart enough to build a robot assistant/bodyguard, and preferring to put his life in mechanical hands he can program to be obedient than another person is a reflection of how much he thinks of his intelligence and how little he think of humans.

Much like his portrayal in 2010 comics, Jor-El's brother Zor-El was enslaved and converted into a cyborg by Brainiac who proceeded to use him as the vanguard of his army. This will cause drama after Supergirl is introduced since she'll naturally be horrified by what happened to her father, becoming conflicted over having to possinly destroy him. Additionally, during a fight, Zor-El's helmet will be damaged and reveal his cyborg visage, causing Earth media to dub him "the Cyborg Superman".

[[WMG: Clark will meet his Cousin Kara... but will suffer from a combination of PoorCommunicationKills and InnocentlyInsensitive]]
Clark knows very little of Krypton, and many of the events of the first season have painted a negative picture of it in his mind, especially [[spoiler:learning of Nemesis Omega and his evil alternate universe counterparts]]. Clark may end up assuming Krypton was TheEmpire, an assumption which may not necessarily be correct. Assuming this view is ultimately incorrect, then this could lead to a case of misunderstandings if he were to meet Kara; either assuming she's an enemy alien invader or (if he finds out his family connection to her) assuming she's indoctrinated/uninformed and so not listening to any attempts by her to correct his assumptions.

* Her appearance will be change a bit to remind us she is an Ancient Greek warrior. More practical armor, (Originally red blue and gold, the white stars added to appease to her allies, and she ended up liking them) curly hair that's kept pulled back, tanned skin, the whole nine yards.
