It’s been explained that Kamala’s powers work through molecular time-travel, and she and Bruno speculate she may have had an Inhuman ancestor who had a more traditional time travel powerset. In a comixology mini-series, Kang specifically targeted Ms. Marvel only to be defeated by an older Kamala who’s apparently developed cosmic awareness. They even share a [[ComicBook/InfinityWars2018 Warp World fusion]]. Kamala and Kang have been weirdly interconnected, and maybe there’s a story to be told there moving forward.
