It is the third main game of the ''Franchise/{{Danganronpa}}'' franchise and fourth overall, released on both the UsefulNotes/PlayStationVita and UsefulNotes/PlayStation4, making it the first game in the franchise released on a home console, as well as on UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} alongside its Western release.
