* MightyGlacier: Red-Dawn and Fatman are the strongest, but also slowest, characters on the roster.

* SkeletonsInTheCoatCloset: Much of Carmilla's outfit has a skeletal design. Particularly noticeable is her skirt which is made to look like a skeletal hand around her waist and her headdress which features a skull motif on the front of it. ([[http://wasteblock.blogspot.com/2008/10/twin-goddesses.html Image here (with Carmilla at center)]])

* StoutStrength: Fatman is a MightyGlacier who, pardon the pun, really throws his weight around.

* DigitizedSprites: Three of the eight fighters are rendered this way. Those being the co-protagonists Nina and Syllin as well as the main antagonist Carmilla. All other fighters are made in a 2D hand-drawn art style.

The game's plot is set in the fantasy world of LOVERADIANT, where the evil witch Carmilla and her five henchmen has taken over the castle of the King, bringing the whole land into darkness. It's up to the slain King's two twin daughters (Nina and Syllin) to put an end to Carmilla's reign.

The game's plot is set in the fantasy world of LOVERADIANT, Loveradiant, where the evil witch Carmilla and her five henchmen has taken over the castle of the King, bringing the whole land into darkness. It's up to the slain King's two twin daughters (Nina and Syllin) to put an end to Carmilla's reign.

* BaldOfEvil: Ghom the green gnome. For what it's worth mentioning, he also has a long beard.

* DarkIsEvil: Carmilla wears an outfit that is primarily black and dark gray.

* FlamingHair: Red-Dawn has this kind of hair, which is fitting for his power set.

* MusicalAssassin: Goldrush

to:

* MusicalAssassin: GoldrushGoldrush has a magical harp that he uses for some attacks.

Added DiffLines:

* PurpleIsPowerful: Goldrush is clad in a mostly purple outfit. Considering that he is next to last opponent in Legend Battle Mode (this game's story mode) and also TheDragon for Carmilla, he proves that it is fitting for him.

Added DiffLines:

* SpikesOfVillainy: Red-dawn wears metal head dress with spikes on it.

''Twin Goddesses'' is a 2D high-fantasy FightingGame developed and published by PolyGram for the Sony UsefulNotes/PlayStation exclusively in Japan on December 22, 1994.

The first fighting game released for the [=PS1=] [[labelnote:*]](10 days before the more widely promoted ''VideoGame/BattleArenaToshinden'')[[/labelnote]], Twin Goddesses features a mix of digitized actors (for the main characters) and hand-drawn anime-style art (for the backgrounds and other fighters). It also features an RPG-style item system, where players can buy special items pre-match using gold.

!!This game provides examples of:
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: All of Carmilla's minions have unique skin colors. Red-Dawn is red, Fatman is purple, Jinny is orange, Ghom is green, and Goldrush is Yellow-colored. Though given that most of them are non-humans, it is justified.
* BlowYouAway: Jinny's main ability.
* CastingAShadow: Goldrush has some abilities based around this power.
* CoolCrown: Warn by the co-protagonists unsurprisingly as they are princesses.
* DigitizedSprites: Three of the eight fighters are rendered this way. Those being the co-protagonists Nina and Syllin as well as the main antagonist Carmilla. All other fighters are made in a 2D hand-drawn art style.
* EvilSorcerer: Well Evil Sorceress in this case, Carmilla, who is both the BigBad and FinalBoss.
* MakingASplash: Fatman has some water-based powers.
* MusicalAssassin: Goldrush
* PlayingWithFire: Red-Dawn has fire-based powers at his disposal.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Nina and Syllin who shortly after the murder of their father, the king, take it upon themselves to reclaim their family's domain.
* RPGElements: As noted in the description, this game features a few mechanics that would be found in Role-playing games, namely being able to buy items that provide certain boosts or status effects during a battle.
* StoutStrength: Fatman is a MightyGlacier who, pardon the pun, really throws his weight around.
* WarriorPrince: Warrior princesses in this case. See "Royals who actually do something" above for details.
