They plan to start on the third floor where the ghost is said to appear. They plan to start on the third floor where the ghost is said to appear. Now the girls have to find meet up and find a way to escape the hotel.

Gameplay is similar to the first game; walk around, find items, solve puzzles, hide from mascot; with some differences. Because each heroine is on a different floor, switching between them is now necessary to explore the different floors, and they will sometimes need to give items to each other. Being caught by the Happy Monster also does not end the game; instead, each girl has a [[SanityMeter Madness state]] that increases each time they are caught, and will get a GameOver if they get caught three times, but there are blue herbs around to subdue your Madness.
