* SurvivalHorror: It plays a lot like the fixed-camera games of the ''Videogame/ResidentEvil'' series. However like the source material, it's light on horror elements, although it's there given the Riders are often alone in hostile environment filled with monstrous enemies.
* TankControls: To be expected for a game that heavily inspired by the ''Resident Evil'' series.

* CanonWelding: Though a video game, ''Seigi no Keifu'' was the first story to explicitly tie ''Agito'' and, by implication, ''Kuuga'' to the Showa universe.
* CombinationAttack: The Evil Eye falls to the four main Riders' Rider Kicks.
* ContinuitySnarl: Regarding the dating of ''Agito''. Though, to be fair, ''Seigi no Keifu'' did not start it. ''Agito'' (2001-02), initially devised as a sequel to ''Kuuga'' (2000-01) before becoming standalone, had some [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness early references]] to [[BroadStrokes No. 4 (Kuuga) having defeated the Unidentified Lifeforms (Gurongi) two years ago]]. The problem is, both ''Kuuga'' and ''Agito'' asserted that they took place in ThePresentDay to the point of matching their year of airing. Ironically, when it came to taking a side in the conflict, ''Seigi no Keifu'' took the side of ''Kuuga'', despite that show not being included here, and places ''Agito'' as concluding in January 2004.
* HijackedByGanon: Downplayed. Though the Rider eras are menaced by [[NebulousEvilOrganisation Shocker]], the BigBad turns out to have been derived from the lore of ''Black''. Meanwhile, Shocker's [[GreaterScopeVillain Great Leader]] is nowhere to be seen.
* {{Interquel}}: Using TimeTravel, ''Seigi no Keifu'' visits four ''Kamen Rider'' series at different points in their history.
** ''Kamen Rider'' is placed in November 1972, during the Double Riders' battle against Gel Shocker. After unlocking the earlier outfits for Riders 1 and 2, the player can choose to start their storyline in January 1972 instead.
** ''V3'' is placed in January 1974, while V3 and Riderman are fighting Destron's monsters led by Marshal Armor.
** ''Black'' is placed in August 1988, two months following the emergence of Shadow Moon.
** ''Agito'' is placed in April 2004, three months following the fall of the Unknown (Lords) and thus nine months before theWhereAreTheyNowEpilogue seen in ''Agito's'' final episode.
