** Another example of this, also from the soundtrack of "Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance", in which the track "L'Agresseur (2EM03)" [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bzLh0UCKrU]] sounds pretty much the same like "Dennis steals the Embryo" [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67kUTkrB_sY]] from the soundtrack to ''Film/JurassicPark''.

* In ''Anime/ZoidsChaoticCentury'', the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RShfhjV2Y2Y#t=1m50s theme]] that plays when the Ultrasaurus awakens sounds an awful lot like the ''Film/JurassicPark'' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8zlUUrFK-M#t=1m40s theme]]. They sound almost identical when both themes climax. Also consider how similar the scenes with the Ultrasaurus first moving and Dr. Grant seeing the living Brachiosaur are, especially since the aforementioned themes start playing in both instances.

The Android/Cell Saga was just starting when T2 came out (Trunks cutting Freeza was published the week it came out). It's a bit more plausible that Terminator 1 was a more readily available inspiration.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZSnlZoTR-Y "A New Foe Rears His Head"]] so blatantly rips off the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDcPv6olllQ opening theme]] of ''Film/TerminatorSalvation'' that it almost feels like a parody: it was used for ''Dragon Ball Kai''[='=]s version of the Android Saga, which itself is a send-up of ''Film/Terminator2JudgmentDay''.

* ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica'' 's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCgajn0R0YE Decretum]] can easily be rendered as a DarkReprise of ''Greensleeves''. With this in mind, a version [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x17Vn6EzkWE combining the two]] is made, requiring some knowledge about both melody lines in order to distinguish the two.

* "The Time Has Come (Pikachu's Goodbye)" from ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' sounds like "True Colors" by Music/CyndiLauper.
** "All We Wanna Do" from the Pokemon Karaokemon segments sounds like a mix of (coincidentally) "All I Wanna Do" by Sheryl Crow and "Shiny Happy People" by REM.

* Another ''WesternAnimation/{{Simpsons}}'' soundalike: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4GvG3jUsLE "Lucky Dirty Boy"]], ''Manga/{{Isuca}}'''s theme for harem shenanigans.
* ''Anime/KikisDeliveryService'': Another Joe Hisaishi number -- "Starting the Job" (the track that plays when Kiki begins her first delivery run in the original Japanese version) is basically a ''pizzicato'' rendition of [[Music/AntonioVivaldi Vivaldi's]] "Spring" in a slightly different key (F- rather than E-Major).
