Although he was pressed charges against the allegations, it's safe to say his career has pretty much been ruined since that.
** Inverted in September 2022. During the Queen's death, it was revealed that leaked video footage showed Phillip and Holly going past various other people to see the Queen's coffin. This led to complete public backlash against the two, with many other presenters and celebrities criticizing them for "jumping the queue" to get to the coffin when other people simply waited to pay respect, and even petitions being made for the two to be kicked off the show. A few days later, ITV made an apology on social media sites and when the footage was eventually shown off, pre-recorded voices of Phillip and Holly told viewers about the situation, saying that it was ITV who asked them to do this and that they would never jump a queue in reality. Even then, this has still gained public backlash for ITV's shady handling of the vendetta - not producing an apology publically and rather putting it on the "Stories" sections of the show's social media pages, and the tones of Phillip and Holly sounding quite snarky in the pre-recorded voice introduction, and even trying to edit out the booing from the crowd when the show won "Best Daytime Show" at the 2022 National Television Awards. Even to this day, both presenters have denied they did jump the queue, but some still believe they might have done so. Only time will tell what happens next but its safe to say that the controversy has died down.
