The board is mostly a cinematic system, but it does include some measure of class specification in "Paradigm" and "Weapon Specialty." The former generally describes the character's attitude on combat, and conveys certain bonus skills the player can invoke in combat, while the latter describes what weapons that character prefers and at what range they enjoy fighting at the most. While currently not binding, terms for how serious trouble a character is in is represented by terminology from ''Edge of the Empire'', itself a largely cinematic system.

On one side, is the [[KnightInShiningArmor Sixth Replenishment Squadron of the Anti-Earth Union Group]], prepared to fight back against as a response to the suppression tactics of the ruthless Titans following their chemical weapon attack as part as the ''30 Bunch Incident'' . The Sixth has been working together for about two months under the tutelage of Eddy LeNoire, one of the AEUG’s senior trainers. A pilot from one of the AEUG’s top teams is rumored to be en route to evaluate the Sixth’s pilots for potential inclusion in their elite unit...

* ElitesAreMoreGlamorous: Both Eddy LeNoire and James T. Ennis flew as part of the same unit during the war, the Sweeper Corps, a special operations group created by Jamitov Hynem and ultimately used as inspiration for the Titans further down the road.
* EnemyMine: The Sixth's pilots consist of Federation defectors, Zeon survivors, civilian militimen, and [[spoiler: one Titan defector]]. They sometimes have trouble getting along, but all agree that the Titans need to be taken down.
* RedOniBlueOni: Jaime Neston and Katharyn Holcroft are foils for each other: similar country of origin, similar backstories, etc. But Jaime is boisterous, passionate and outgoing with a short temper. Katharyn is reserved, stoic and quiet, but carries her anger tightly wound. As a side bonus, their color schemes match.

* TalkingToHimself: NPCs are played by the staff of the site. On several occasions multiple NPCs are active at once, leading to this. Some players also run multiple full characters who inevitably end up trading words at one point or another.
