* InsaneTrollLogic: Ai speculates that Pandor will summon "Topologina Nabee" next after she brings out "Topologina Babee" and "Topologina Maybee"... except she brings out no such monster, even by the time the duel concludes. Ai voices out loud to himself after Pandor is knocked off the plane that she might've had a chance at winning if she only summoned "Topologina Nabee" like he said.

* DisneyVillainDeath: Ai blows Pandor off the airplane with a OneHitKill and the latter helplessly falls to her doom. Subverted in that Pandor is just an AI inhabiting an android body. Even if the android is destroyed, there are still several copies of her around, including one in the Zaizens' duel disks.

* BrickJoke: Ai guesses (wrongly) that Pandor will summon a monster called "Topologina Nabee" after her first two "bee"-themed summons. When he wins the duel, he says she would have won if she had summoned Topologina Nabee, even though he isn't sure such a monster even exists.

* DelayingAction: Pandor attempts to stall the duel with "Topologina Beeswax" to prevent either player from taking damage that doesn't exceed 4500. This fails, however, as the airplane ascends once again just as it was about to land in an airport, thanks to Ai hacking into and mingling with the airplane controls prior, and Ai finishing off Pandor with his "Fire Phoenix @Ignister" monster.

Subverted in that Pandor doesn't die for good since 1) she has multiple copies of herself 2) she's seen again as an "A.I." helper to both Zaizen and Aoi in the episode preview.

Ai mentions that he doesn't want to talk about his inner feelings except to ''one'' person but he doesn't reveal who that is. Fans speculate its Playmaker.

* LampshadeHanging: Ai falls off the plane after taking damage from Topologic Bomber Dragon's effect, but gets back on because his SOLtiS has an extendable hand that he uses as a grappling hook. Ai is glad for the function, but wonders why SOL included it in the first place.
