Bykov is enraged by his on-call room becoming one big dump, and assigns Varya to fix this until the end of day. Varya, realising what she can't deal with it by herself, asked Lyuba for help.
Bykov wants to "protect" Alisa from Gleb. To start, he forces Gleb to check with Kupitman. When he finds out what Gleb is, in fact, infected, he ordered him to stay away from Alisa. Unfortunately, now Alisa thinks what Gleb avoids her because she is "ugly", which drives her to tears, forcing Bykov to defuse situation. Unknowingly to him, Kupitman faked Gleb's results, to "help" Bykov.
Lobanov's patient is black guy... named Misha. Lobanov doesn't believe what Misha can be "true" Russian (despite Misha claiming to being born and raised here), and decided to "prove" what he is "more Russian" than him.
Bykov finally learns what Kupitman faked Gleb's analyses, but decided to make best of situation. Semyon's attempts to "test" culminates in them being drunk together, only with Misha becoming sick. And Varya must undone all Lyuba's work, because Bykov doesn't like on-call room's new look.
