Bykov promised to investigate; it wouldn't be hard: patient, in "self-defence", hit Alexei in the eye hard enough to leave very noticeable bruise. It didn't take long for Bykov to realise what happened after he noticed Alexei (with bruise under his eye) together with Maxim. Predictably, they received several night shifts.

Realising she just ruined whole plan, she asked Lyuba to just lie to Bykov what she ''didn't'' visited him for a whole day. Plan failed because patient (who just happened to being present when Lyuba lied to Bykov) told the true story. Lyuba then just revealed Sophia's plan to protect herself, and pressed Gleb to confirm it when [[CassandraTruth Bykov didn't believed, considering Sophia's plan to be too moronic to be real]] -- only for them to bust Sophia reading science literature. This completely ruined any credibility they have left in Bykov's eyes. Bykov even quickly found the plausible explanation why they could want to backstab Sophia, punishing ''them'' and complimenting ''her''.

Her proposed solution? Screw up on purpose so Bykov would (for a first time) punish her with night shift, so Maxim and Alexei would see she isn't "better" than them, and would trust her more. Lyuba called this plan stupid.
