* HundredPercentAdorationRating: Hajime has a vision of the AI Chiaki, who explains that she was created when the Neo World Program scanned all of the students' memories for their most trusted authority figures, intending to combine traits from all of them into one personality that everyone would feel they could trust. Except that every single one of them saw their beloved ClassRep as their most trusted authority figure, so the program just ended up creating an AI of her.

* GrandFinale: For the Hope's Peak saga, making way for ''[[VisualNovel/NewDanganRonpaV3 V3]]''.

* SurprisinglyHappyEnding: Not only is the entire cast of ''VisualNovel/SuperDanganRonpa2'' back, they've been cured of their Ultimate Despair brainwashing, though they're willing to [[ZeroApprovalGambit fake still being Despairs for the greater good]].

** Nagito is less of a {{Jerkass}} here than in ''VisualNovel/SuperDanganRonpa2'' to the point giving an affectionately dramatic admiration speech to Makoto in personal and praising Seiko (who's already dead at this point) for the "Antagonist" antidote, which Kyoko drank to keep her from dying so Mikan can save her at a later time. His "hopegasm" is still there though.

* NoSell: A Future Foundation sniper is already wearing ear protection for her rifle, so is immune to Ibuki's "[[BrownNote music]]". However, she is ''not'' immune to a BlindingCameraFlash from Mahiru, who takes the opportunity to remove it.

* ZeroApprovalGambit: Class 77-B record a video as the Remnants of Despair and take the blame for Tengan's Final Killing Game so that the Future Foundation won't lose credibility. [[TheDitz Hagakure takes the video at face value]], only for Togami to tell him off.

** Mikan jabs the Ultimate Nailist in the ass with a gigantic syringe.

* BrownNote: Ibuki's "Kimi ni mo Todoke!" can also be used as a weapon. A Future Foundation agent is unaffected since he is already wearing ear protection for his sniper rifle, but Mahiru blinds him with a camera flash and takes it away.

* EyepatchOfPower: Averted. Fuyuhiko doesn't use his eyepatch to cover his scarred right eye.

* LargeHam: Gundham as usual, especially during his showdown against the Ultimate Falconer.

** Akane uses a pair of meat on the bones to protect herself from the Ultimate Street Performer's fire-breathing attack and uppercut him.

* ArtificialLimbs: Nagito is shown having Junko's left arm attached to him replaced with a mechanical prosthetic.

* BrownNote: Ibuki's "Kimi ni mo Todoke!" can also be used as a weapon. A Future Foundation agent is smart enough to put headphones on, only for Mahiru to take it away.

* NotQuiteDead: Kyoko was actually placed in a coma thanks to the special drug she obtained from Seiko's body, which slowed down the effects of the poison. This gave Mikan enough time to revive her.
* {{Retcon}}: Subverted, the prior retcon that implied Kamukura to be the one that created the Chiaki AI is explained: the Neo World Program was set to create an AI to guide the characters based on their memories, a blank AI that ''Chihiro'', not Kamukura created, since everybody wanted to see Chiaki again, the AI created was her.

* ZeroApprovalGambit: Class 77-B pretended to be the Remnants of Despair and took the blame for Tengan's Final Killing Game, so the Future Foundation wouldn't lose credibility. Hagakure mistakenly thinks that what Hajime said means they're ready for Round 2, only for Togami to tell him off.

** Kazuichi too. When Nidai (who is too busy fighting the first Monobeast at that time) is caught off guard by a second Monobeast, Kazuchi blows it up.
