But what's this? The ''perfect'' target has just arrived! No, not any of the girls; Wayhem has just arrived on the scene and regards the manor sadly, reflecting back upon how Adrien claimed he was busy today and that he wanted Wayhem to meet all of his friends. As tears roll down his cheeks, Hawk Moth celebrates--who cares if this guy's got a grudge against his own son?! He needs the electricity back, damnit--!

Meanwhile, the girls are watching Party Crasher make his deal with Hawk Moth. Mylène wonders if they should call somebody, but Lila bitterly points out that the cops are already attending the party. Back inside, Kim tries to confront Marinette, only for her to ask ''him'' why he and the guys ditched work. Kim insists that they didn't do anything wrong, but when he looks to the others for backup, Ivan interrupts--Kim had ''promised'' that they wouldn't totally ditch the girls and would leave in time to meet up with them, only to let their private party turn into a rager filled with complete strangers.

Party Crasher announces that he's captured all of Chat Noir and Marigold's teammates, only to be InstantlyProvenWrong when Chat Noir pops back up with King Monkey in tow. The akuma yells at them for getting ''more'' randos, declaring, "Hawk Moth wants the ring and earrings, not '''you!''' Go get Scarlet Lady!" Alya actually agrees, wondering where their slacking superheroine is, and Lila tells Sabrina to "Go nag Chloé to get her lazy BFF over here."

Afterwards, Marinette and Pollen visit Master Fu, ensuring that all of the Kwamis were returned safely. Noticing that she seems troubled, he asks if anything's bothering her; hesitantly, she explains that Alya took her aside while the boys were working and asked if she'd noticed anything odd at Adrien's place. Why? Because the intrepid reporter's efforts to deduce Hawk Moth's location and secret identity were increasingly pointing towards Gabriel ''despite'' how he'd been akumatized before. Alya notes, though, that they don't really know much about the Butterfly Miraculous or what Hawk Moth's exact powers and limitations are.

** In the original episode, Marinette is MadeOutToBeAJerkass, accused of selfishly trying to use the party as a chance to get closer to Adrien as "Marino." Here, all of the girls (sans Chloé) are involved with her plan, while much more emphasis is placed on how the boys ditched, lied to, and completely excluded the girls from their impulsive decision to throw a party at the Agreste Manor without Gabriel's knowledge or permission.

We open in the middle of a video call, as Adrien explains to Wayhem that his schedule is absolutely ''packed'': he's got a headshot photoshoot that's part of a casting call, followed by a private fencing lesson. Seems like his father is heading off on a business trip to Tokyo, but made sure to keep his son busy in his absence; Adrien reflects that Gabriel likely doesn't want him to "go wild" while he's gone. Wayhem expresses his sympathies, offering to hang out with him some other time.

Then his bodyguard knocks on the door, bringing in a guest. Quite literally, as he's holding Master Fu up by the back of his jacket. Master Fu calmly requests that Adrien ask his friend to put him down, while Adrien reacts with shock.

Meanwhile, the other guys are meeting up. Ivan reports that Nathaniel and Marc are on their way, while Kim wonders why Adrien isn't coming. Nino explains that his ControlFreak dad's keeping him locked up while he's away; fixating on that last word, Kim declares that this is the ''perfect'' chance to crash the Agreste Manor and hang out there. Nino is all for it, and doesn't understand why Ivan and Max are both cringing at the concept.

Master Fu's also got ulterior motives for his visit: it's a prime opportunity to review his prime suspects for the secret identities of Scarlet Lady and Hawk Moth! As he shows off the materials he's prepared to Adrien, Adrien notices that the list for Scarlet Lady mostly has candidates from his school. Master Fu explains that this is where she would have had the most opportunities to get the Earrings from his ''original'' pick, which is news to Adrien.

Back with the boys, Max and Ivan remind the others that they're ''supposed'' to be meeting up with the rest of the class to plant trees together. If they skip out on that, it's practically ''guaranteed'' that the girls are going to be enraged... but Kim and Nino insist that "This is for Adrien!" Besides, they won't ''completely'' bail--they'll just hang out with him for a bit, then join the others later. Max decides that should be alright (much to poor Ivan's confusion). Nino then presents the others with a set of pre-made excuses, making Ivan question why he already had those prepped and ready to go.

As the girls work hard, Marinette notices that the guys are still missing and asks if anyone knows where they are. Alya explains that Nino's [=DJing=] at a party for his grandmother; Mylène volunteers that Ivan went to the dentist to treat a sudden toothache. Alix reports that Nathaniel apparently crashed his computer, so Max is helping him fix it; Rose reveals that Kim told her that he's got a mandatory swim lesson. Upon hearing all of this, Lila bursts out laughing: what a bad bunch of lies! Were they even ''trying?!'' Sabrina joins her in giggling, but the mood shifts as most of the other girls ask her just what she means by that.

Adrien sadly asks why Marinette can't come over; when Kim insists that it's "No girls allowed!" right now, he presses "But ''why?''" Knowing they can't offer a satisfactory answer, they attempt to distract him by playing their music even louder... meaning the girls arrive at the manor and hear a peppy song entreating others to "join us at the Holiday Camp" blaring from the estate. As Marinette notes, they're practically advertising that they're skipping out on work. While Max nervously observes that Adrien's home boasts an ''incredible'' power grid, capable of competing with a nuclear power station, Marinette learns from Adrien's bodyguard that the girls aren't allowed inside, and asks him to pass a message on to the slackers: "''We're going to make you eat dirt.''"

Then Alya notices Officer Roger storming up to the gates, declaring that he's got a noise complaint from ''half of Paris'' due to how loud the boys are blasting their music. While Alya thinks that means the party's over, and Sabrina is happy to see her father resolving things, they're dismayed and disgusted when he yells at the boys to let him show them how to play foosball. The same thing happens when the photographer shows up, and soon men are lining up to be let into the manor. Marinette furiously observes that they're letting complete ''strangers'' in so long as they're "not a girl", inspiring the others to recruit Luka to their side.

Adrien sadly asks why Marinette can't come over; when Kim insists that it's "No girls allowed!" right now, he presses "But ''why?''" Knowing they can't offer a satisfactory answer, they attempt to distract him by playing their music even louder... meaning right when the girls arrive at the manor and hear a peppy song entreating others to "join us at the Holiday Camp" blaring from the estate. As Marinette notes, they're the guys are practically advertising ''advertising'' that they're skipping out on work. While Max nervously observes that Adrien's home boasts an ''incredible'' power grid, capable of competing with a nuclear power station, station (which Adrien fails to comprehend is extremely abnormal), Marinette learns from Adrien's bodyguard that the girls aren't allowed inside, inside and asks him to pass a message on to the slackers: "''We're going to make you eat dirt.''"

The same thing happens when the Adrien's photographer shows up, and soon soon, men are lining up to be let into the manor. Marinette furiously observes that they're letting the guys will let complete ''strangers'' in so long as they're "not a girl", girl," inspiring the others to recruit Luka to their side.

Meanwhile, Luka has been brought up to speed: he and Marinette (now disguised as his school band mate "Marino") are going to be their "men on the inside". As they head inside, Luka remarks that "This is going to be hilarious." Deep inside the manor, however, Gabriel isn't quite so entertained as the power to his secret lair cuts off, demanding to know "What the $%&# is going on in here on this day?!"

While Kim celebrates that they've got a manor full of partiers now, Master Fu asks him if he thinks this is getting a little out of hand. Kim replies that if ''anybody'' deserves a day full of fun, it's Adrien--and ''obviously'' everybody came here to celebrate '''him''', right?! The notion that they might just be taking advantage of the situation simply isn't occurring to him, leaving Master Fu to quietly observe that Kim is both big of heart and dumb of ass.

Once inside, "Marino" demonstrates to Luka how to "fight like a girl"--starting with an offhanded remark about how glad they are to not be stuck outside in the heat. They follow it up by noting that it'd be a ''miracle'' if Gabriel doesn't hear about such a massive blowout party, then start singing "Promises, Promises", causing the rest of the boys to feel increasingly guilt-ridden... while Luka silently notes that "Girls fight ''hard''."

Ivan starts to panic, admitting that he ''knew'' this was a bad idea from the get-go. When Master Fu asks why he didn't speak up, Ivan shyly admits that he knows he looks "really scary", so he tries to compensate for that by avoiding anything others could interpret as him being aggressive. Plus, he's still finding his footing when it comes to his friendship with Kim. Master Fu notes that he'll only regret not standing up for what's right, and that true friends won't be angry with him for sharing his thoughts. Agreeing, Ivan resolves to try finding some way to fix matters.

Down under the manor, Gabriel has somewhat similar motivations... though of course, he intends to "fix" everything by akumatizing somebody. To his disgust, however, he doesn't sense any strong negative emotions from within the manor; aside from the usual ripples of general anxiety, people are mainly radiating joy and happiness, and he just can't work with that!

But what's this? The ''perfect'' target has just arrived! No, not any of the girls; Wayhem has just arrived on the scene, and regards the manor sadly as he reflects back upon how Adrien claimed he was busy today, and that he wanted him to meet all of his friends. Meanwhile, the girls are watching Party Crasher make his deal with Hawk Moth. Mylène wonders if they should call somebody; Lila bitterly points out that the cops are already attending the party. Kim tries to confront her, only for Marinette to ask ''him'' why they ditched work. Kim insists that they didn't do anything wrong, but when he looks to the others for backup, Ivan interrupts--Kim had ''promised'' that they wouldn't totally ditch the girls, and would leave in time to meet up with them, but let their private party turn into a rager filled with complete strangers.

Kim tearfully asks if this means the others weren't having fun, prompting the boys to have a GroupHug as Adrien reassures him that he's been enjoying himself. Marinette watches them embrace, unimpressed... but then Party Crusher interrupts, declaring that he'll teach Adrien not to throw parties without him. As screams of "Akuma!" and "Scatter!" fill the air, Adrien yells at Marinette to hide. Both rush to find a place to transform... while Master Fu manages to make it outside, huffing, puffing, and shaking as he realizes just how bad it could have been if Party Crasher had managed to zap him, given how he brought ''all the Miraculouses'' with him.

Chat Noir and Marigold quickly realize that Party Crasher appears to be capable of anticipating their every move. Just when it looks like they're about to be blasted, Kim ''yanks'' Chat Noir out of harm's way by his belt-tail, while Ivan tackles Marigold and hauls her to safety. As Marigold thanks Ivan, wondering how Party Crasher wasn't able to see them coming, Kim admits that he moved without thinking, spurring Chat Noir to remark "Now ''there's'' an idea."

While Party Crasher captures Marc, Master Fu declares "Let's increase our odds!", sending several of the Kwami out to find their previous bearers: Trixx, Sass, Kaalki and Ziggy track down Nino, Luka, Max and Nathaniel. The four swiftly confront Party Crasher, preventing him from chasing down Marigold and Chat Noir; however, he seems unconcerned, cracking his neck as he tells them to BringIt.

Viperion is taken out of the equation as he tries to prevent Fox Trot from being zapped. Meanwhile, Master Fu surprises Chat Noir and Marigold, presenting them each with a Miraculous. He notes that their other options are currently out of reach; all of the girls have taken shelter together, and while Mylène, Juleka, Rose and Alya all want to help, none are willing to ditch the others to do so.

As Pegasus falls, Marigold orders Fox Trot to keep buying them some time. She presents Ivan with the Ox Miraculous, while Chat Noir pulls Kim aside and offers him the Monkey. Ivan's stunned, while Kim is delighted. Stompp reassures Ivan that the only one who's going to be hurt is the akuma, who's protected by his powers, while Xuppu gets distracted by a brief raspberry-blowing contest before getting back on track.

Party Crasher announces that he's captured all of their teammates, only to be instantly proven wrong when Chat Noir pops back up with King Monkey in tow. He yells at them for getting ''more'' randos, declaring that "Hawk Moth wants the Ring and Earrings, not '''you!''' Go get Scarlet Lady!" Aly actually agrees, wondering where their slacking superheroine is, and Lila tells Sabrina to "Go nag Chloé to get her lazy BFF over here."

King Monkey's Uproar creates a banana, which fails to impress Party Crasher... until he realizes that it actually disrupted his powers, making them go haywire. He then manages to shatter the disco ball on the akuma's right hand, freeing the rest of the heroes, while Sabrina storms right into Chloé's bedroom and orders her to get her so-called best friend to deal with the incident raging ''right across the street from the hotel''. As Minotaurox knocks the akuma back with Resistance, Marigold coordinates with the others, ordering Foxtrot to use Mirage to confuse Party Crasher with decoys while Caprikid creates a Stationation cassette and Pegasus retrieves a boom box.

Scarlet Lady finally arrives at this point, strutting onto the scene while claiming her BFF Chloé was forced to call her due to the others ''embarrassing'' themselves. As she pretends they were utterly ''hopeless'' without her "leadership", Chat Noir warns Viperion to have his Second Chance ready for ''when'' she screws things up.

Pegasus returns with Nino's boom box, and Marigold cues up the tape, explaining that they need to keep their movements unpredictable -- hence, incorporating dance moves into their fighting repertoire. Scarlet Lady promptly ignores this, showing off her "world class training" and swiftly getting sniped; thankfully, Viperion took Chat Noir's advice to heart and rewinds. With eight on one (discounting Scarlet Lady's presence), the heroes are easily able to knock Party Crasher's glasses off his face and right into Chat Noir's hands.

As Ivan returns his Miraculous to Marigold, he remarks that he's glad he was able to help. Stompp reassures him that he's a good Ox; when Ivan admits that he was worried he might be too soft for the role, Stompp declares that "It's good to know when to be gentle and when to be tough. You just need time, my young calf. And when that time comes, you'll be a big, strong bull." Watching the Kwami headbutt Ivan affectionally, Marigold complains about having to separate yet another wholesome duo... unaware that Kim and Xuppu are getting into another argument, this time over whether or not Kim is "too chicken" to apologize to the girls.

And speaking of... The rest of the guys are currently on their knees before the girl, insisting that they're really, very sorry. Marinette prompts them to list off each of their crimes: ditching them to throw a party, not inviting them, lying to them... As the girls contemplate whether they seem sincere about it and how they should make it up to them, Kim loudly declares that he volunteers as tribute, insisting that ''he'' was the one who suggested the whole thing (in a way that almost makes it seem like he's bragging about it). Ivan interrupts, pointing out that he went along with it despite disagreeing, making him just as much at fault. Cue another group hug between the boys, with Marinette observing that they seem to have forgotten just ''who'' they were apologizing to.

As part of their punishment, the boys get put to work on the tree-planting they originally skipped out on; Kim's happily oblivious to how nervous the others are, or how put off they are by his cheer.

Why? Because the intrepid reporter's efforts to deduce Hawk Moth's location and secret identity were increasingly pointing towards Gabriel, ''despite'' how he'd been akumatized before. As Alya noted, they don't really know much about the Butterfly Miraculous, or what Hawk Moth's exact powers and limitations are.

Marinette also recalls how he had a book detailing various Miraculous heroes of the past, and how Max had mentioned the manor boasting an insanely powerful electric grid. Listening to all of this, Master Fu chuckles, noting that these are "Just the kind of deduction skills I'd expect from my original pick for the Ladybug Miraculous."

After a moment, Marinette shrieks "''WHAT?!''", causing him to realize that he'd never actually informed her of that before now. Whoopsie-daisy--!

He The new temporary hero then manages to shatter the disco ball on the akuma's right hand, freeing the rest of the heroes, while Sabrina storms right into Chloé's bedroom and orders her the latter to get her so-called best friend to deal with the incident raging ''right across the street from the hotel''.

As she pretends they were utterly ''hopeless'' without her "leadership", "leadership," Chat Noir warns Viperion to have his Second Chance ready for ''when'' she screws things up.

Pegasus returns with Nino's boom box, and Marigold cues up plays the tape, explaining that they need to keep their movements unpredictable -- hence, unpredictable--hence, incorporating dance moves into their fighting repertoire.

Stompp reassures him that he's a good Ox; when Ivan admits that he was worried he might be too soft for the role, Stompp declares that reassures, "It's good to know when to be gentle and when to be tough. You just need time, my young calf. And when that time comes, you'll be a big, strong bull." Watching the Kwami headbutt Ivan affectionally, affectionately, Marigold complains about having to separate yet another wholesome duo... unaware that Kim and Xuppu are getting into another argument, this time over whether or not Kim is "too chicken" to apologize to the girls.

And speaking of... The rest of the guys are currently on their knees before the girl, insisting that they're really, very sorry. Marinette prompts them to list off each of their crimes: ditching them the girls to throw a party, not inviting them, and lying to them... them. As the girls contemplate whether they the guys seem sincere about it and how they should make it up to them, Kim loudly declares that he volunteers as tribute, insisting that ''he'' was the one who suggested the whole thing (in a way that almost makes it seem like he's bragging about it). Ivan interrupts, pointing out that he went along with it despite disagreeing, making him just as much at fault. Cue another group hug between the boys, with Marinette observing that they seem to have forgotten just ''who'' ''whom'' they were apologizing to.

As part of their punishment, the boys get are put to work on the tree-planting they originally skipped out on; Kim's happily oblivious to how nervous the others are, are or how put off they are by his cheer.

Why? Because the intrepid reporter's efforts to deduce Hawk Moth's location and secret identity were increasingly pointing towards Gabriel, Gabriel ''despite'' how he'd been akumatized before. As Alya noted, notes, though, that they don't really know much about the Butterfly Miraculous, Miraculous or what Hawk Moth's exact powers and limitations are.

Marinette also recalls how he Gabriel had a book detailing various Miraculous heroes of the past, past and how Max had mentioned the manor boasting an insanely powerful electric grid. Listening to all of this, Master Fu chuckles, noting that these are "Just the kind of deduction skills I'd expect from my original pick for the Ladybug Miraculous."

After a moment, Marinette shrieks "''WHAT?!''", "''WHAT?!''" causing him to realize that he'd never actually informed her of that before now. Whoopsie-daisy--!

!!Episode 46 - Party Crasher - Tales of Wayhem the Fun Guy

Unbeknownst to all of them, Gabriel hasn't gone anywhere. The Gabriel who left is a mere hologram; as she drives, Nathalie reflects that it doesn't really feel any different from when she's chauffeuring the real deal around. If anything, it's quieter.

At the Agreste Manor, Nino winks at the camera as he claims that they've got a ''project'' with Adrien. His bodyguard is unimpressed, but Nino offers him a bribe: all of the action figures they brought along with them are his, so long as he lets them all in and keeps the girls out.

Cut to the boys barging into Adrien's room, catching him and Master Fu completely off guard. As Fu frantically hides what they were working on, Adrien tells the guys that while he appreciates the surprise, he's still got to work on his Chinese lessons... only to be caught off guard when Master Fu ''also'' declares that it's hang out time.

In order to test Lila's theory, Marinette attempts to call all of the boys, including Adrien. When they see who's calling, each of them panics... save for Adrien, though Nino prevents him from picking up. This last detail cements that they ''must'' be together--and as Marinette reports this, she turns to see that the other girls are ''fuming''.

As Adrien declares that he's had fun, Max notes that they should probably be heading out, only to be interrupted by the sound of helicopter blades. Jagged Stone has just shown up, and he's far from the only unexpected guest. While Kim is more than happy to keep the party rolling, the rest of the guys realize that things are getting ''extremely'' out of hand.

Master Ru notes that he'll only regret not standing up for what's right, and that true friends won't be angry with him for sharing his thoughts.

As tears roll down his cheeks, Hawk Moth celebrates--who cares if this guy's got a grudge against his own son?! He needs the electricity back, damnit--!

Back inside, several of the adults start pestering Marino, trying to pressure him into joining them into performing Stationation. None of them are willing to listen to his protests--not until Marinette dramatically rips off her mustache, revealing her identity to all and sundry!

!!This episode contains examples of:

* AdaptationalDumbass: PlayedWith, as Kim is the one who suggests the ill-fated plan to crash the Agreste Manor while Gabriel is supposedly away. In the tags for the first page, the author states outright they made it Kim's idea rather than Nino's "Cuz this ain't gonna be a Nino episode for HIS sake lol".
* AdaptationalJerkass: This version stresses how incredibly short-sighted and selfish the boys' plan to ditch the girls in favor of partying at Adrien's is, [[ZigZaggingTrope while also]] painting them as more sympathetic; see below.
* AdaptationalSympathy:
** In the original episode, Marinette is MadeOutToBeAJerkass, accused of selfishly trying to use the party as a chance to get closer to Adrien as "Marino". Here, all of the girls (sans Chloé) are involved with her plan, while much more emphasis is placed on how the boys ditched, lied to, and completely excluded the girls from their impulsive decision to throw a party at the Agreste Manor without Gabriel's knowledge or permission.
** The boys themselves also benefit from this; Ivan and Max express more resevations about the idea, and it's emphasised that they didn't intend to ''completely'' ditch the girls, with everyone save Kim and Adrien [[OhCrap reacting with dismay]] when they realize the party is getting completely out of hand thanks to the adults.
** Wayhem is also given a much more sympathetic reason for getting akumatized: he believes that Adrien lied to him about being kept busy, as well as lying about wanting Wayhem to meet the rest of his friends.
* AdultsAreUseless: The majority of the adults involved prove to be ''worse'' than useless here, as aside from Master Fu, none are willing to approach the situation with even an ''ounce'' of maturity. {{Lampshaded}} when Officer Roger and the photographer fail to stop the party, followed by several opportunistic strangers lining up to enter the manor:
-->'''Caption:''' You should know you can't rely on adults in this universe, girls.
* BadLiar: PlayedWith--Lila ''immediately'' clocks that Nino's excuses are a bunch of baloney, being highly experienced in the art of deception. Judging by the way most of the other girls react, they didn't pick up on this... likely because they trusted the boys to be honest with them.
* BigWhat: Marinette reacts this way to hearing that ''she'' was meant to be Ladybug.
* BringIt: Faced with four of the temporary heroes unexpectedly showing up, Party Crasher cracks his neck while declaring "You want ''that'' kind of party? Fine, I'll give you ''that'' kind of party."
* ChangeTheUncomfortableSubject: When Adrien asks the other guys ''why'' he's suddenly not allowed to talk to Marinette or invite her over, Nino quickly asks Max and Markov to start playing some music as a distraction.
* ChekhovsGun: Marinette reveals her true identity to get several of the irresponsible adults to stop harassing Marino to perform Stationation with them. This inspires her plan to deal with Party Crasher.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint:
** When Max observes that the Agreste Manor has a power supply capable of competing with a nuclear station, Adrien remarks that "My father always has to own the biggest and the best," failing to understand why Max is so ''deeply concerned''.
** Even after Ivan calls him out on letting the party get completely out of hand, Kim just thinks that means the guys haven't been having fun.
** Scarlet Lady fails to pick up on the idea that dancing is meant to make their movements harder for Party Crasher to predict, which enables him to easily pick her off while she's showing off her training.
* CrossPoppingVeins: Start appearing on the girls once they learn that the boys are in fact lying to them, and continue to manifest repeatedly throughout the incident.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: A RunningTheme with the guys throughout the episode:
** Nino convinces his co-conspirators to use a selection of pre-prepared excuses to explain away their absence from the tree-planting task, without considering that the girls will get ''even angrier'' if they learn they were lied to on top of being ditched.
** They bribe Adrien's bodyguard, ordering him not to let the girls inside if they '''do''' show up at the manor... something that only serves to upset the girls ''even more''. Nor do they think about how they'd have to leave ''eventually''...
** When Marinette calls each of the boys, none of them answer, and Nino prevents Adrien from answering as well. Marinette takes this as evidence that they're all together; most of their excuses wouldn't have prevented them from answering their phones, and Adrien wasn't involved and wouldn't have any reason to ignore a call from her.
** The boys crank up the music as a distraction for Adrien, playing it loudly enough to garner noise complaints... and draw in opportunists and moochers who give the party a life of its own.
** Master Fu brought all of the Miraculouses with him for his "strategy session disguised as a language lesson" with Adrien. While he had no way of knowing that the boys would come over or that their party would get so out of hand, he's still ''deeply shaken'' by how easily this could have bitten him in the butt if Party Crasher had managed to zap him.
** PlayedForDrama when Viperion tries to prevent Fox Trot from getting zapped away by Party Crasher, taking himself out of the equation in the process.
* EasilyForgiven: PlayedWith; when Kim misunderstands why Marinette and Ivan are calling him out, he ends up getting a GroupHug from Adrien and the other boys as they reassure him that they've been having fun... while Marinette stands to one side, unamused.
* FaceFramedInShadow: Alix, Alya, Marinette, Rose and Juleka combine this with BlankWhiteEyes when confronting the boys.
* FailedASpotCheck: Despite the boys playing music loud enough to register a noise complaint ''before'' the adults started trickling in and turning their private bash into a wild party, ''and'' the akuma showing up, Chloé somehow completely fails to notice any of the excitement over at the Agreste Manor, requiring Sabrina to come in and yell at her to kick the butt of her "lazy so-called best friend" into gear.
* {{Foil}}: Ivan and Kim serve as these to each other throughout the episode:
** Kim sets events into motion by impulsively deciding that they should take advantage of Gabriel's supposed absence to go gatecrashing. Ivan is immediately opposed, but can't convince the others in the same way that Kim can.
** Kim's biggest issue is that he's completely oblivious to the impact his actions have upon others. Ivan has the opposite issue: he ''overthinks'' things, and is afraid to assert himself because he doesn't want to intimidate anyone.
** Both Kim/King Monkey's unpredictablity and Ivan/Minotaurox's defensive strength prove key against Party Crasher.
** Stompp is calm and supportive, encouraging Ivan to recognize and appreciate his strengths, while Xuppu gets into several squabbles with Kim.
** This episode also highlights Marinette/Marigold's natural abilities as a leader, as she works well with the whole troup of heroes and puts all of their skills to good use against Party Crasher. This contrasts sharply with how Chloé's irresponsibility and how she ''claims'' to be the leader despite all evidence to the contrary.
* FriendOfMaskedSelf: Chloé claiming to be [=BFFs=] with her alter ego comes back to bite her when Lila and Sabrina choose to exploit her claims in order to summon Scarlet Lady to the fight.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: As the boys are having their GroupHug, one of the hearts floating around them bounces off of the unimpressed Marinette. This happens ''again'' during their second hug.
* GroupHug: The guys share two of these, both while reassuring Kim, along with Ivan the second time.
* InternalReveal: Master Fu casually informs Marinette that ''she'' was meant to have the Ladybug Earrings, not realizing that he hadn't brought this little detail up before.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Kim is ''thrilled'' the instant Chat Noir presents him with the Monkey Miraculous.
* TheLeader: Marigold's ability to strategize and command gets to shine here as she coordinates all of the heroes, despite Scarlet Lady's [[IRejectYourReality claiming they were completely hopeless without her]].
* TheMillstone: Scarlet Lady's tendency to serve as one gets {{Lampshade|Hanging}}d by Chat Noir when she arrives:
-->'''Chat Noir:''' ''(to Viperion)'' Better use Second Chance for when she screws this up for us.\\
'''Viperion:''' Yep.\\
'''Scarlet Lady:''' '''''HEY!'''''
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Or alternatively, "Obfuscating Immaturity". Master Fu acts just as irresponsible as every other adult that appears in this episode, but does so as a front to talk to several of Adrien's classmates and get to know them better.
* ObliviousGuiltSlinging: PlayedWith; "Marino" acts blissfully unaware of how the boys ditched the girls while making several remarks meant to pointedly remind them of what they've done.
* OhCrap: When the boys realize that the party is getting out of control, Nino, Ivan, Max, Nathaniel and Marc all get this expression, while Kim remains oblivious.
* OnlySaneMan: Ivan is the most reluctant of the boys to attempt breaking their word to the girls. {{Downplayed}} with Max, who points out the issues, but is more readily swayed to go along with the scheme than Ivan.
* OutOfFocus: It takes fifteen full pages for Chloé to show up, and it only happens because Sabrina goes after her as a way to contact Scarlet Lady.
* PoliceAreUseless: Roger takes a turn as this when he fails to shut the party down. Later, Lila cites this as a reason not to bother calling for help once the akuma shows up:
-->'''Mylène:''' Do... do we '''call''' someone?\\
'''Lila:''' Who do we call? The cops are at the party.
* PoorCommunicationKills: Wayhem gets akumatized due to being LockedOutOfTheLoop--after seeing the massive party being thrown at the Agreste Manor, he assumes that Adrien lied to him about his father forcing him to work overtime while he was away.
* ShoutOut: When Kim offers himself up to try and protect the other guys from the girls' wrath, he shouts "''[[Literature/TheHungerGames I volunteer as tribute!]]''"
* SkewedPriorities: While he shows up at the manor to deal with a noise complaint, Officer Roger gets distracted by how the boys are playing foosball and joins the game to "show them how it's done."
* StatingTheSimpleSolution: When Kim laments how his idea has gotten him and the other guys in trouble with the girls, Xuppu inquires "Why can't you just say you're sorry and make it up to them?"
* TakeMeInstead: PlayedForLaughs; Kim "volunteers as tribute" to appease the girls, insisting that it was entirely ''his'' fault that they ditched the girls. Somebody notes that his delivery sounds almost as though he's ''bragging'' about that.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: {{Lampshaded}} in the tags of the penultimate page; one reads #wait I forgot about wayhem O.O;
* WildTeenParty: PlayedWith; the boys' party doesn't start getting wild until ''after'' the adults start showing up and joining in.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Master Fu, Marigold and Stompp all encourage Ivan in this fashion.
* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: One of the girls declares this when they overhear Officer Roger joining the foosball game.
