* BerserkButton: Super Nayzor goads Merrick by reminding him of his history as Zen-Aku.
* BigDamnHeroes: The four Rangers complete their test, getting Cole the Falcon Summoner before Super Nayzor can finish him off.
* CameBackStrong: He ain't called "Super Nayzor" for nothing. After getting taken down by Merrick alone, he's able to take on the whole team with ease. It takes an all-new weapon and Megazord combination to put him back down.
* CurbStompBattle: During the first fight, Super Nayzor pummels the Rangers at every turn, ultimately leaving four of them comatose. It takes Animus intervening for the Rangers to escape. The second fight doesn't go any better, until Cole gets the Falcon Summoner.
* DeusExMachina: A literal god-like Megazord intervenes to save the Rangers from Super Nayzor, much to the Org's annoyance.

* LaserGuidedAmnesia: The four Rangers struggle to remember what exactly they saw and experienced during their shared dream. Max says the more he tries to remember, the quicker he forgets. Taylor suspects that's the way the one behind the test wants it.
* LittleNo: Cole when Super Nayzor is poised to deliver the death blow.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: This time, Master Org does the honors instead of Toxica.
* MoodWhiplash: When Jindrax says they have to do something about Master Org, Toxica says in a sinister tone that she already has an idea. Jindrax asks what she means in a confused tone and then sees she's already walked away.
