* ForWantOfANail: Eda and Lilith learn that Raine's the leader of the Bards Against the Throne before the first episode of Season 2 and offered membership to boot. Raine also learns that Lilith cursed Eda, something that's never brought up to them in the show.
** Dr. Frakes is said to have spent years building her portal instead of months, implying [[{{Foreshadowing}} something happened with the Calamity Trio...]]

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Lilth has to accept that Amity needs some distance from her because of what happened between them, no matter how much she wants to make things right.
** Luz wasn't kidding when she said she was the reason people didn't mess with Willow and Gus at school: with her gone, it doesn't take long for Gus' old bullies to start messing with him again.
** Nicole taught Boscha everything she knows about getting what you want and controlling those around you and has had years of experience to boot. The Regals and the Harwitches are living examples of her efforts as unlike their children with Boscha, they never saw Nicole for the bitch she is and still follow her blindly. Averted with the Brookes, who cut ties with the Hierons alongside the Blights.
*** On that note, the Regals and the Harwitches pride appearances overall so when they saw their daughters being part of the protest at the Conformatorium, they punished them to maintain said appearances.
** Luz didn't come out of the Forest of Fear without any more trauma than she needs: she's afraid the Inner Demon will come after her again when she least expects it.

* BittersweetEnding: More bitter than sweet: Raine helps everyone in the Owl House take the first step towards forgiving each other for all their secrets, but now Emperor Belos is aware of their allegiance to them. Amelia and Cat's parents are taking drastic measures to keep them from seeing Amity because of Nicole and Webstor has been beaten and detained. At least Luz can use Bill to talk with Dipper.

* ADayInTheLimelight: Raine, Amelia and Cat all recieve prominent focus in this chapter. Raine visits the Owl House to check up on the Clawthornes and helps them with their current issues while Amelia and Cat try to figure out a way to visit Amity while voicing their anger against their parents for keeping them from doing so.

* MisplacedRetribution: Cat vehemently voices her anger at how her and Amelia's parents are forcing them to stay away from Amity, how Amity suffered so much while the Heirons walk free, and how her parents [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking forced her to join the surgery club]] just for being involved with the protest at the conformatorium.

* OurOfFocus: Hexside is featured but Willow, Skara and the multi-trackers don't appear.

** Webstor's been severely injured and locked up in the castle dungeon while the conformatorium's being rebuilt. Someone else is being detained down there, but their identity is kept hidden.

* StrictParentsMakeSneakyKids: Determined to see Amity regardless of what their parents say, Amelia and Cat try to sneak out to go to the Owl House. Unfortunately, their parents anticipate this and take them home to punish them after they chew rhem out.

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: Hexside is featured but Willow, Skara and the multi-trackers don't appear.

* KeepingSecretsSucks: The group therapy session has the Owl crew vent how all their secrets nearly tore them apart; everything Lilith did (the truth about Camila and Odalia suggesting she curse Eda being kept hidden), Eda forcing King to not tell Luz about her curse getting worse, Luz abput her new form and Amity about going along with Lilith's orders. Once they've gotten it all out, they start looking at the good that seemed to come out of it.
* KidHasAPoint: After thinking things over Amity reminds Lilith that her taking her godmother's deal led to Lilith blackmailing Odalia while Luz mentions the two stopped her from killing Boscha and that if it weren't for her causing the ghost infestation that led to Amity tutoring her, Prof. Blanc would still be the Abomination Track teacher.

* YouAreGrounded: Amelia and Cat's parents ground them for trying to sneak out to see Amity, confuscating their scrolls for good measure.

* InSpiteOfANail: Dr. Frakes has constructed her dimensional portal and managed to gey a picture of the Boiling Isles.

* KidHasAPoint: After thinking things over Amity reminds Lilith that her taking her godmother's deal led to Lilith blackmailing Odalia while Luz mentions the two stopped her from killing Boscha and that if it weren't for her causing the ghost infestation that led to Amity tutoring her, Peif. Blanc would still be the Abomination Track teacher.
