Meanwhile, Fisher Biskit is trying to figure out why the Littlest Pet Shop is so successful while the Largest Ever Pet Shop is doing no business, so he sends Whittany and Brittany to investigate in disguise. This predictably backfires, as the twins are too bored with their assignment to pay attention to the excellent customer service that Blythe and Mrs. Twombly offer. When Whittany and Brittany get some bottled water at LPS and marvel at its excellent taste, the twins decide that water is what made Littlest Pet Shop a success. Their father reacts by building a huge water slide around the Largest Ever Pet Shop, which ends up depositing the Biskitts' only customer at LPS... which is where he wanted to go all along.

Back at the day camp room at the Littlest Pet Shop, Russell expresses his exhaustion having to deal with a hyperactive sloth. When Zoe questions why Russell stresses himself over it all, he says that he wants to ensure every guest gets a good experience, then looks over at Sunil and Vinnie playing with a ball. Sunil and Vinnie, having overheard the conversation, take offense, and Vinnie declares he can make a better host than Russell. At that moment, Blythe comes in with the pet--Otto von Fuzzlebutt. Dashing about the room giggling, he turns to the new co-hosts about where to get some water and snacks. Blythe then leaves the room to tend to the customers. Sunil and Vinnie initially denying that they know where to go to feed Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt, Russell coerces them into serving him. Vinnie gives him water and fruits on a serving tray, and Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt promptly makes a mess of the surrounding area eating. Sunil and Vinnie realize they have to clean up after Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt and look on in apprehension at his energetic scampering about.
After some time, Sunil asks Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt what he'd like to do. Mr.

At the Largest Ever Pet Shop,
At the park, Blythe attempts some small talk with Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt. Vinnie and Sunil, with their legs still tied to Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt's, answer in his stead. Blythe then unhooks all of their leashes to allow the pets to play around free. Naturally, as the guest pet, all of the rigorous activities center around Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt, and Sunil and Vinnie struggle to move Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt's limbs to simulate him being awake without making it look obvious. The two pull through, despite many setbacks, and the group return to the Littlest Pet Shop along with Blythe.
The Biskit Twins, in disguise, reach the Littlest Pet Shop, this time blending in by entering within a crowd of people. While Blythe was away in the park, Mrs. Twombly finds herself overwhelmed with customers, and Blythe immediately goes over to help.
Meanwhile, the pets walk back into the day camp. Sunil and Vinnie, dead-tired, untie their legs from Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt and put him on a rubber ducky rolling toy. As they complain about their feet, the toy rolls away with Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt on it. They give chase, but a customer in the main room picks him up by mistake and puts him in a backpack and heads onto a bus. Vinnie and Sunil eventually get on board the bus as it stops to pick up a passenger, then scurry to the back of the bus and retrieve Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt from the customer's bag. The three of them are then booted off the bus.

Vinnie tries hiding Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt in the tubes lining the day camp. Zoe, Minka, and Penny spot them and enter the tubes too, mistaking the situation for continued playtime with Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt. His size gets him caught around a corner, however, so Penny helps push Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt around it, causing Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt, Sunil, and Vinnie to tumble out of the tubes and land out in the open. After a moment of relaxation for Vinnie and Sunil, Blythe soon notifies Mr. Von Fuzzlebutt that his owner is returning in five minutes.
Back at the Largest Ever Pet Shop, the twins report to Fisher that they didn't understand what "love" had to do with the Littlest Pet Shop's success but that they had good water and that everyone seemed to like it. Using this information, Fisher constructs a water slide that travels in and out of the Largest Ever Pet Shop and, after the last piece has been installed, declares it open. A man walks by asking for reconstituted catfish treats and is put on the water slide instead. Noticing that the Largest Ever Pet Shop Water Park Extravaganza lacks oomph, Fisher turns up the water, causing the entire building to explode and flood the area.
