The guys visiting Jon's cousin, George for dinner but to Garfield decide to leave when Jon mention that George works as a D.J. (disc jockey). As they were having dinner, George tells Jon that he was promoted to manager in K-Dum Radio station and wants to hire Jon to be his Morning Man D.J. Jon agrees as [[BreakingTheFourthWall Garfield pause the show to show why viewers should not be a D.J.]]. Resuming the cartoon, the next day, Garfield wakes up only to realize that there's no food only to hear Jon on the radio as he's already become a D.J. To makes matters worse Jon neglected them and forgot to make them lunch after his quick exit. Garfield and Odie decides to head to K-DUM Radio Station and find a way to get back their old Jon back.

At K-Dum Radio Station, they witness him being greeted by Mr. Frump, the owner of Frump Clothing Department, as he warns Jon not to joke around in his commercial. Garfield found this solution as he writes down a script in George's office typewriter and switches the script. [[DumbassDJ Jon]] continues to read Garfield's script unaware that he make fun of Mr.Frump causing him to be furious and ask him to be off the air. As they exit the place, Jon realize he's back to normal and apologize to Garfield and Odie, promising them a huge meal while both of them congratulate each other by saying their beautiful.

Jon makes a wager to Garfield that if he can stop eating for 5 minutes to prove Garfield's 'self-control', he will give him the chocolate cake and will do a can-can dance. However this was hard for Garfield as everywhere he looks, people are offering him food.

Jon accepts a job as a disc jockey at a local radio station, but the job soon takes over his life, leading him to neglect Garfield and Odie. Once again it is up to them to bring back Jon the way he is before it gets worse.
