!!Tropes:
* AreWeThereYet: Asked by Hulk as he, Iron Man, Thor and Loki travel to the Bifrost's location.
* EnemyMine: Between the Avengers and Loki.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Loki is completely baffled by the idea of "helping" random strangers who are being menaced by creatures, and soon finds it almost fun.
* FogOfDoom: The underground New York is plagued by a fog which sweeps in at random and kills anything in its path. However, it later turns out it's not the fog, rather some creatures of Amora which move around in it.
* HardTruthAesop: You're not responsible for the actions of others, they are. A person can only change for the better if they ''want'' to change. If they don't, and you're only going to get hurt reaching out to them, you don't actually owe them any obligation... but at the same time, if they're sincere, then you should help them.
* IGaveMyWord: Loki declares his intention to help the Avengers save Asgard (oh, and Earth), and surprises Amora when he reveals he is, for once, completely sincere. Of course, since this is Loki, ExactWords should be considered...
* ItsAllAboutMe:
** Loki is in it mainly so he can restore ''his'' Asgard.
** Amora just wants to find the Bifrost so she can get herself off Battleworld, ''now''. She's quite prepared to kill anyone who gets in the way of that, or looks like they might possibly be thinking of getting in her way.
* KilledOffForReal: Enchantress is disintegrated by the sabotaged Bifrost.
* LampshadeHanging: Iron Man notes that having giant chunks taken out of them will, y'know, be ''bad'' for the Earth, especially if they can't undo it.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: When the Beyonder said he would tear the Avengers in half, he meant it in a surprisingly literal form; he splits Hulk and Bruce Banner apart, then flings them off into the sky.
* MythologyGag: Loki insults Hulk to increase his strength, allowing him to keep a large amount of rock from crushing them all, as the Thing did in ''ComicBook/SecretWars1984''.
* YourPrincessIsInAnotherCastle: The Bifrost's control mechanism is destroyed, thanks to the Beyonder, leaving the Avengers with no known way of restoring Earth or Asgard.

Steve and Natasha bring Tony back to the Avengers, after believing he was still trapped in another dimension. However, one other follows and wishes to assist them: Thor's brother Loki.

But after all of the times he has fought and double-crossed them, does the team, even Thor, have any reason to trust him, especially when they learn he has played a role in the Beyonder finding Earth?
