[[folder:Episode 37: '''Hopper1 and The Treasure''']]
* It was said previously that, in spite of Iron Gotchard's transformation process being more like a Malgalm than a Kamen Rider, that Houtaro was able to stay a Kamen Rider because of his good heart and his bonds with his friends. Well, after Houtaro is forced to put down a corrupted [=Hopper1=], he crosses the DespairEventHorizon and, as he lets out a SkywardScream... darkness pours out of him. The same sort of darkness that would cause someone to transform into a Malglam. Gigst wastes absolutely no time attempting to take advantage of this to turn Houtaro to the dark side, and the MassOhCrap expressions from everybody on the side of good shows how terrified they all are. While this is stopped by the timely intervention of Nijigon, it was insanely close.

* The Dark Malgams are a MortonsFork: If you don't kill them, they can continue to go on a rampage. If you ''do'' kill them, the Chemies they're based off of ''will die along with them''.

* Almost ''every freaking scene'' involving Dark King Gigist. As if that damn monstrosity wasn't creepy enough already.

* Special mention goes to Gigist creating the Ark-One Malgam. While he has three of the Chemies in his possession already, he grabs Gokigenmeteon while it's hanging in Earth's orbit without any preamble. If Gigist can simply take any Chemy at any time, then even the Riders won't be able to keep them safe that easily.

* The ''Ark-One Malgam''. Just it's face and shoulders alone are enough to provoke insomnia.
* We finally get to see more of Gotchard Daybreak's world... though unfortunately, it's not in any condition to be enjoyed, and it's one known inhabitant is seen ''literally begging for help''.

** Let's review the events of episodes 3 and 4 of ''Outsiders'', Banno and the Ark were lucky to [[DeathIsCheap survive]] Zein's onslaught since they can store their data in the computer network in the event their robotic bodies sustain calamitous damage, meaning they can come back into the surface at any time. Here, Zein's victim in this episode is an ''otherworldly human'' from an alternate dimension, who happens to be part of a terrorist organization bent on multidimensional conquest. This means, Hundred made a '''fatal mistake''' at invading Gotchard's dimension, as Zein plans to annex this world along with the rest of all Kamen Rider worlds so that Zein plans to remake it in its own image. Mimei's death was nothing more but [[MakeAnExampleOfThem setting an example on would be intruders]] entering Zein's domain.

** Atropos and Gigist having to stay out of the episode's conflict turned out to be a smart decision, knowing that attempting to fight Zein head on would be asking for an immediate death sentence. Clotho Rebis decides to get out of dodge after a brief confrontation with Lachesis. Had Zein managed to find and kill Gigist and the two Dark Sisters, ''Gotchard'' would have abruptly ended with only a short of 33 episodes!
