** The initial big fight with Wesker starting off the end of the game is itself a narmfest the way they had to balance out the SuperHuman capabilities of Wesker. On one hand, a solid kick can nearly kill Chris or Sheva in a single strike. On the other hand, Wesker will routinely ''stand there'' [[SmugSuper in his arrogance]] and do the dumbest possible things to leave himself vulnerable for retaliation. It also breaks the entire immersion of the fight to see skilled players ''beat the shit out of Wesker'' in constant melee [=QTEs=] as he drops like a dazed rock, only to instantly recover and act like nothing happened.

** One of his attacks is to try to [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice impale you]] with his bare hand, and Wesker and his target will just stand in one spot as Chris/Sheva repeatedly dodge to the sides with the exact same motion over and over if you do the QTE right each time, as if he has no consideration for even shifting his position or doing something different. Then they'll dodge around him, get a dramatic close up of prepping their fist as their mouth opens wide and shouts "Wesker!" without lip sync, and proceed to give a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown.

* Even just Marcus' design is difficult to take seriously. While the real Marcus looked like a perfectly normal old man with a stylish brown suit, for some reason his leech-resurrected self decided to wear an outfit that looks like it was stolen from a ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'' villain's wardrobe. It clashes with everything else in the game and the series as a whole.

** Other funny parts of his death are that one, it comes out of nowhere so fast that it's meant to be shocking because of it since Luis opens a door, says one line to Leon, and then immediately gets impaled within the span of five seconds. Two, despite his name being obviously Spanish, Leon consistently invokes SayMyName -- and calls him "[[AccidentalMisnaming LEWIS!]]" throughout the whole scene. And three, Leon is so incredibly sad about his death for a character he barely met a handful of times, that he sounds like a dear friend just got murdered, compared to his blundering reaction to Ashley's deaths below.

* Accidentally ([[VideoGameCrueltyPotential or deliberately]]) killing Ashley will result in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3_xZjII0A0 Leon saying "Oh... no..."]] with a delivery that sounds less like he just killed the president's daughter and more like he accidentally left his phone at work. This is accompanied by him dramatically falling to his knees, completely opposing the delivery of said line. It's also worth noting that he reacts less viscerally to ''the death of the president's daughter'' than the deaths of [[spoiler:Luis and Mike]], who he'd barely known.

* On a similar note of hilarious nostalgia, you can [[AndYourRewardIsClothes unlock the '98 Costumes]] for both Leon and Claire, which is about as [[ArtShift intentionally jarring]] as you'd think with polygonal assets next to the realistic game world around them. But '98 Leon in particular gets to bring hilarity to virtually every single scene around him with his unchanging FascinatingEyebrow that makes it look like he perpetually just ''doesn't give a shit''.

* [[spoiler:Luis]]' death scene, in which he is impaled by a tentacle... that comes out from the lower half of Saddler's robe. The obvious similarities between said appendage and a phallus became a source of jokes among fans, thus turning what should be one of the game's most tragic moments into one of the most humorous.
