The main premise itself isn't particularly out of the ordinary by [=GoAnimate=] standards, but what really pushes it into this trope is the execution. The titular character (who is essentialy Boris recoloured into a very sickly looking shade of green) constantly yells at [[SensoryAbuse absolutely painful levels]] throughout a majority of the first four minutes of the video (not helping that the voice chosen for him yelling is the Kidaroo voice put on the highest possible volume, making it very difficult to understand what he is saying), as well as spewing out constant profanities and derogatory remarks towards TJ and his family, not to mention that the amount of DisproportionateRetribution he brings upon TJ is absolutely absurd (he takes off TJ's clothes, then proceeds to rape him, forces TJ to perform fellatio on him, and then defecates and urinates in his mouth... ''all'' for hating on baby shows). The video also treats TJ being forced to watch Dora the Explorer the same as if he was being forced to watch one of his relatives being killed in front of him (complete with overdramatic music playing in the background [[note]]Specifically the track "Tunnel Chase" from I, Robot[[/note]]). It doesn't stop there; the video also has Zerithyl hitting on Joseph Sylvie, which causes her [[FetishRetardant butt and breasts to grow impossibly large]]. Zerithyl's father in the video has probably one of the worst cases of TheUnintelligible, due to his designated voice being a non-English voice, his dialogue is so hard to understand that it makes Zerithyl's yelling voice sound comprehensible in comparison.

** [[Franchise/TheLoudHouse Leni]]'s name is only pronounced correctly once in the entire video. Other times, it's pronounced wrong as "Lee-nigh" or "Len-eye".
** Swiper kills Leni while saying, "You're too late!" with a sound clip from the show.

* The "Calming Video" fad is this ''in spades''. To describe the format in general, each video involves a character ([[PetTheDog normally someone like Caillou, Macusoper or Dora]], or an AuthorAvatar) coming to some sort of harm (normally having a Punishment Day or being sick) or getting incredibly angry for some reason, then being "calmed" by someone else, typically Boris, Diesel Busters or Caillou (again). These videos can drag on for upwards of ten minutes while all that happens is the character or AuthorAvatar screaming at the top of their lungs in broken text-to-speech. Expect plenty of '[=WA-EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AH=]'s and '[=GEE-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR-ARR=]'s to be yelled by the "calmee", while the "calmer" repeats the same things over and over again with an annoyed expression, unintentionally making it look like the "calmer" really doesn't want to be here.

Whether it be due to its low-budget synthesized voices, cheap video effects, or how even the serious of situations can become this despite the efforts of its users, Platform/GoAnimate[=/=]Vyond and the hundreds upon hundreds of "X Gets Grounded" videos have cemented themselves as one of the Internet's biggest sources of {{Narm}}.

* Whenever the parents ground a troublemaker in a video, they almost always say "I can't believe you did [X]", but you have to wonder how they could ''not'' believe that their child did something bad because they get in trouble, play deadly pranks on others, and even commit felonies on a daily basis, if the number of grounded videos is anything to go by.

It appears to be an awkwardly-implemented ShoutOut to the ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'' episode "[[Recap/SouthParkS15E1HumancentiPad HumancentiPad]]", but the sheer usage of it in videos has pretty much lost the source reference.
