** Zig-zagged examples regarding the "vegetation" of the Sea of Corruption. If fungi replaced plants as the dominant ground cover, there simply wouldn't be enough oxygen around for the giant arthropods or the humans to breathe. Fungi, unlike plants, ''[[https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080430200848AAUJAfd consume oxygen without creating any]]''. That said, most of the larger plants in the Sea of Corruption are, in fact, plants despite their names -- breadfungus is shown to actually be a mutated tree, while the top canopy is largely Mushigo Palms (basically giant ferns). The cover art also makes the film look like TheMockbuster of various '80s sci-fi/fantasy franchises.

* FantasticNuke: The God/Giant Warrior's God Warriors, especially their mouth beams.beams. Millenia ago, these giant, biomechanical beings were responsible for the Seven Days of Fire that destroyed the civilization of their creators, the Ancients, and nearly the entire world, with the Sea of Corruption appearing not long after this apocalypse. The God Warriors were able to fly and fire devastating energy beams. They were also fueled by atomic power and contact with them caused radiation poisoning. An unfinished God Warrior is discovered in Pejite shortly before the story begins. Its appearance arouses the envy and interest of Pejite's neighboring kingdoms and beyond because it inspires within them the hope of finally destroying the deadly Sea of Corruption and, for the more ruthless kingdoms such as Torumekia, the chance to conquer and expand into more fertile territories.
