The crossover that nobody asked for but everybody secretly kinda wanted.

Our story begins in Maccadam's Old Oil House. The mischievous time twisting [[WesternAnimation/ChallengeOfTheGoBots Renegade]], Gong, and [[Anime/UnicronTrilogy the Aurex Cluster's]] least favorite pain in the neck, Sideways, make a bet on which one can mess up the timeline enough to send the events of a [[WesternAnimation/TheTransformersTheMovie familiar conflict]] off script first. They plan to do this by infiltrating the Planets Cybertron and Gobotron and messing with their respective Omega Locks to merge the universes of the Transformers and [=GoBots=] together. But the bartender has tipped off the Guardian Vec-Tor, aka Vector Prime, to the dastardly duo's vile machinations. Now the guardian of time is in a race against the clock to stop Sideways and Gong before Unicron can take advantage of their chaos and destroy Cybertron.

!!Tropes
* AdaptationalNonsapience: Inverted; in ''WesternAnimation/ChallengeOfTheGoBots'', Puzzler and his components were mindless drones that Cy-Kill operated with a remote control. Here, not only are they living [=GoBots=], but they actually throw in their hat to replace Megatron as leader.
* DecompositeCharacter: There are a number of instances where the role that a single ''Transformers'' character played in the source material is played by multiple ''[=GoBots=]'' characters in this story.
** Soundwave's role of playing back the information recovered from the evil faction's spy is given to Cop-Tur, while the role he played in the attack of Autobot City was given to Dr. Go.
** Wheelie's role as the small robot who helps the Dinobots find Hot Rod and Kup is evenly divided among at least three [=RoGuns=].
** The Junkions' role is divided between the two factions of Rock Lords, with the Evil Rock Lords attacking the Autobots and Guardians after Galvatron steals the Matrix, and the Good Rock Lords aiding the Autobots and Guardians in their fight against Unicron.
** And of course, the human companions -- Matt and Anya, and Nick and A.J. take the roles of Spike and Daniel, respectively.
* {{Irony}}: The hyperactive chatterbox Blurr ends up getting replaced with the quiet and calm Moto-san.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: DoubleSubverted; after the Renegades took control of the Command Center heading to Earth, Cy-Kill chose to have Crasher stuff Ironhide in the brig rather than wasting him, then the Renegades abandoned the Command Center, leaving it to crash into the ground after Hot Rod blew their cover; it was later revealed that Dumper ([[ItMakesSenseInContext who replaced Ironhide due to Sideways and Gong's meddling]]) had survived the crash but was now trapped under the wreckage.
