** Even better when you think of how amazing it is that Henry has managed to hold on to it all these years.

* Abe researches his newly-discovered family tree, and meets cousins all over the world, before finding something truly astounding: [[spoiler:he and Henry are related through Henry's uncle!]]

And thanks to the latter case, [[spoiler:the grateful patient helps shore up Henry's fake backstory just in time to save him from being outed.]]

* Over the years, Henry's shared so many of his stories that Abe can name the most notable deaths of given years almost immediately. He may not trust many with his secrets, but it's clear to see how much sharing them with even one person helps him.
* Henry, it turns out, upon learning of his father's legacy went about making amends wherever he could, even joining the ship that would ultimately be party to his first death with the goal of freeing the slaves carried thereupon.
** And the results of those efforts: [[spoiler:he dropped the key within their reach after he died, and they were able to take the boat, sail North, and live their lives in freedom. In time, Ejiro would even receive a dignified burial - a far cry from how their lives would have been had Henry not intervened.]]

** When she then wonders why he went to Lucas first, Henry clarifies that that was Abraham, and that she is one of the few people he trusts.
