* Zoe states she is an illegal immigrant because she was born in France when her father were working there and her parents never filed the paperwork to get her a U.S. passport. This seems unlikely given her mother is a lawyer. Further, how did her parents bring baby Zoe into the U.S. without a passport? She would not automatically be a French citizen until age 16.

** Having just read the entirety of her comics thusfar, yeah that’s definitely not one of the best arcs, especially because of how contrived the circumstances are and out of character Kamala is. On a side note, having normal Zoe catching a collapsing giant mecha tortoise with her head and surviving with barely a scratch is hilarious considering the more recent drama when superpowered Kamala catches a collapsing roof and get comatose as a result.

* During a storyline in Volume II, Kamala decides to disappear for a while, since she feels unneeded as the city's crime fighter and is stressed by her social situation, among other things. No issue there, but in the story's last issue, we find out where's she's been and it's... a private school. At the end of the story, she just leaves and returns to public school like she'd been sick for a while. Surely enrolling in a private school and then up and leaving after your friend gives you a pep talk is a stupid waste of money.
