In all likelihood, Maxima simply didn't have a chance to arrange anything before that happened. So there's no legal conflict because Kevin isn't in Tom's army yet.

But part of his army is also helping Deus expand; most recently in Mozambique. What are the odds he's been asked to help out? Even if it's unintentionally on his part...
