* Arc testing out his Gate spell. Since he hasn't visited any towns for it to teleport him to yet, it teleports him a few feet forward... while he was standing on the edge of a cliff.

** Immediately after infiltrating the lord's manor, Arc and Ariane are discovered and they make a run for it. Shortly afterward, we see a group of soldiers meeting before they split up to look for the intruders... [[HiddenInPlainSight while Arc was standing right there the whole time, posing as a statue.]]

* At one point, Arc has to match strength with a driftpus mount to be able to ride it, which he is ecstatic to do. However, the driftpus immediately feels the difference in strength - with an image of it feeling like it is fighting a mountain - and gives up immediately.

** How does Glenys convince Arc to join the village of Lalatoya? She points out that it'll be difficult for him to board a ship to the southern continent, where tomatoes are plentiful, if he doesn't belong to a village.
